Watching people prepare for Covid-19 might be the weirdest thing I've ever seen in all my years on this earth.
I mentioned in another thread how I went to Kroger the other day to get a few weekly items, how it was packed, so many shelves bare. Most of the
people there were calm, but annoyed. Some seemed very confused.
I also mentioned how, that same day, I went to my smaller local grocery, which was also packed, but they were restocking the shelves and there was
plenty of mostly everything except water. Again, most everyone there was calm and friendly.
There was this one lady there, though, probably late 40s, with a buggy full of various items and I will never forget the look in her eyes: she looked
absolutely
terrified, like she didn't know what the hell was going on or what to expect. I felt really sorry for her
