Ugh, one recurring thing I've noticed among leftist is their penchant to cling among the Presidents qoutes as some rule or baseline for whatever actions may go down.

This topic is ignored for the most part by conservative members and I wonder why. The few that have chosen to address it have relied upon the standard '' the boss has the right'' argument''. And of course I guess that argument is true, the boss does have the right. However that cannot begin to cover the issue that his is not just a boss but the POTUS who promised only the best people nor the possibility of incompetency.

Mulvaney was acting chief of staff. His position was temporary.

He loses friends with the same rapidity.
I ran a business and it's better to have people who know what they're doing and to keep them then to constantly train people.

But four acting chiefs in three years? Doesn't sound very stable to me.
Always a tweet.
Smdh and
three years later still fumbling around looking for those ''best people''.
Only the best people.
However what else is possible is that Trump is a bozo, an inefficient goof ball who has no idea what he is doing and needs not experts or competent people beneath him but rather only people who are for what ever reason loyal to him and will follow his aberrant dictatorial commands with little to no question.
Ding! Ding! Ding!

How can that be true when he changes on a daily basis?
And why do these great people all wind up indicted?
Well you're just going to have to roll with it and for the most part, he has done incredibly well, the package so to speak has perfomed well.

Arnie Arnie Arnie, that was not just a presidential ''quote'' or obscure tweet ,that was a presidential promise, a presidential theme. He stressed that point over and over again, from rally to rally to rally. People who point that out are not just making it up or pointing to some small one liner he tossed out and usually long forgotten. He made it a big deal, not liberals, not me.
His package was that he was a great businessman and not just a hack TV performer. That he was accepted among the worlds business leaders and that his contacts were the smartest and brightest. That is how he packaged himself.
