Annoying post with no actual evidence to back up a claim...
I was driving down through France from Calais on the Route d'Anglaise (A26) a couple of weeks ago. I was sharing the driving and was in the passenger
seat. We were driving overnight and it was just before dawn - about 530am. Annoyingly I didn't take a map reading but we must have been just past
Arras.
The stars were out and I looked up to the east, through the passenger window. It was beautiful. But as my eyes adjusted to see the stars I noted that
some of them were moving. I literally had to do the cartoon rub of the eye sockets. There was a procession of lights. Looked like a highway in the
sky. They didn't have coloured lights. Just white. The same size as the stars. As I was looking I was trying to work out if there was just one stream
of lights going in one direction, or if there were two parallel streams going in opposite directions.
I guess I don't look up at the sky enough. Obviously this part of France is a hot spot. My main thought though is that it was a procession of
military helicopters. But surely they have red and green lights. Maybe because I was pretty much directly underneath them that I only saw the white...
Looking at the map (and thinking that the time of day was a commuter time) I wondered if maybe it was Parisian Politicians travelling to Brussels by
helicopter in convoy. Their speed wasn't anything more than an acceptable measure and they were only travelling in a straight line. It was just that
they were in convoy. And only white light.
Really weird. I really need to spend more time looking upwards at night.
Very happy to have seen my first UFO's - although not much especially unexplainable about them
