Here is just recently uploaded new music from Swedish progressive doom metal/rock band called Katatonia. Their new studio album "City burials" is released in the near future and my level on anticipation is through the roof!

LOL. Sorry, was just arguing with someone over the weekend how silly subgenres in music are.

Anyway over the weekend I ran through some My Dying Bride, Paradise Lost and Mournful Congregation playlists so definitely was in that doom place musically.

Hell I even had early Katatonia on since you mentioned them but this was Dance of December Souls, Brave Murder Day era so a much different sound and feel.

It is time to send post-apocalypse songs and chew bubble gum...

...And i am all out of bubble gum

Haha! Maybe there is no reply needed here, because in my books, obviously your post was humorous. I really don't know much anything about genres. Genres of music. I like it or i don't like it. Subgenres in music? I am still waiting to hear death-gospel. Or doom-pop. Haha!
