Why just not send starving chinese?

I heard Locusts are quiet tasty and crispy when cooked.

Chinese are saying this method has been used since ancient times. Only problem is the climate. It works but transporting ducks to an arid hot climate is likely not going to work.

A better option would be to just eat the locusts. Chefs in the region have been using them in dishes and people do indeed like it. Soups, breaded and fried. They say it taste like chicken. High in protein, fatty acids and minerals. Way more nutrients than the crops they are devouring.

War is the norm, peace is a time to prepare for war.

Grandpa, I heard WWIII was fought over 100,000 bucks!

No honey, it was fought with 100,000 ducks.

Xi: General... Did you send 100,000 bucks to the border to for supplies to fight the locus plague?

General: Bucks? Uhhh....

See I wondered about why they didn't catch them in Netting and eat them. or empty nets into a tanker and suffocate then grind up into fertilizer. I know there is billions off them but they are trappable as you know what they are going for green food.

Or like the giant drag net used in fishing but have on a constant loop over the field. Grasshopper lands caught in net net goes between roller squish net carries on back out covering field.

Or could you use a low voltage wire net to zap?

just chasing off your field isn't that great a solution.

i think that has been speculated to be dangerous at this point due to the number of pesticides trying to be used against them. If no pesticides were used it is probably the best option. Maybe the duck thing will work but like already posted getting the number of ducks over there without significant loss is going to be difficult and then ducks still need water so the ducks are only going to go where there is water.
