It’s been a while since I’ve posted. As a background, I’m a retired USAF pilot and for the past 19 yrs a pilot with a major airline. My original postings centered around silver sphere UAP. Tonight I saw things that have me stumped.
I was flying east to west (heading 250 degrees) over central Kentucky at 40,000. Venus was clearly visible in a mostly clear night sky, the ground was covered with low overcast. I saw what looked to be a satellite in orbit passing below Venus and angling Northward in the night sky. I pointed it out to the other pilot and we discussed what satellite it could be (ISS?). I even wrote down the time, location and relative position so I could use a website to help ID it. That’s when it got weird, about a minute or so later it was followed by another along the identical path, then another and another (two rather close to each other) and more. At least 10 for a period of almost 15 minutes (0145Z to 0200Z). There was a gap before I saw the last at 0221Z.
Neither I nor the other pilot with about 20 yrs of experience have ever seen anything like this. I tried to record it with my cell phone but it couldn’t focus properly.
Other pilot thinks it’s ultra high altitude military craft. I don’t know, other than I’m submitting a report to NUFORC.
Figured I’d fuel the flames by reporting it here. What do you think it was?

Did not observe the multiple dots in close proximity, but the following ones did resemble the video but they were spaced a little over a minute apart.

Interesting...just looked up the Space X cluster. Just might have been that! Definitely changes what I see in the night sky!

Hi, I saw the exact same thing last week in Germany. I live now in a little town near the Alps, where sky is very dark and clear. About 5:30 a.m. CET i saw the satellites like objects. At first all seemed to be normal, but a few seconds later I realized, that they fly in pairs. It became even more strange, when one of the objects suddenly stopped and turned back! It was impossible to be an aircraft on such an altitude! After a couple of minutes ( maybe - I was completely stunned ) i saw something like meteorite descending into atmosphere with very high speed in the same area. The objects then disappeared. I wondered if I was only one who saw such a thing.

Space X just launched another 60 satellites this morning. Expected to have around 12,000 - 30,000 of these satellites orbiting us in the next few years. They first start out as a string of pearls but will eventually be spaced out to their projecred orbit.

Starlink

Heres a link to a Starlink satellite trackerstarlink tracker

Thanks for the link. It does appear that I’ve just seen one of the Starlink clusters. Glad to know it has a rational explanation!

I think, nah i know, you need to invest in a decent camera to record anything anomalous that you encounter above the clouds. Dont presume your phone will be up to the job.

You are one of the few that is in a position to maybe get something good recorded, dont ever be unprepared...

Ya, for the over 200 UFO reports I've received since the first Starlink launch last May,
At least 100 of them have been Starlink sat. Related.

It occurs to me that this could function as one great big image sensor.

It astonishes me that so many pilots or Military pilots in general do not know of the Space X satellites that are being bombarded into our night sky.

We know a lot...but we don’t know everything. :-)
Those things will be cluttering up the night sky from now on.
Kinda bums me out. :-(
But they will make for spectacular fireworks when they eventually re-enter the atmosphere. I’ve seen a few of those at night

Seen exactly the same here in Britain Gregory.................... Watching supposed 'normal' satellites way up when they decide to literally change direction just as you described. The top military must have something mental up there or it's aliens, either way they're keeping the truth from us

it looks like some kind of mores code!
for Spys on the ground to see?

I see it as stupid to have lights on satalites.
if you see the light it to late. just time to say "sh
its like airplanes. its stupid to have head lights high up.
they both have radar and ground control.

I think its just so we can not separate the UFO lights.
(spoof script on the space station!
" of look a UFO!","No its just a satalite with head lights!")

Joe, thanks for watching, recording, and passing on information. Among all the weird stuff, there are more kinds of satellites and spacecraft in orbit [and missile test, too] now making bizarre apparitions.

Some examples:

This was seen by a Dutch airliner crew over western China and
photographed by many Chinese observers also.
