According to Fox News, Iowa hasn't reported ANYTHING to the media over the last 7 hours.

Here's a link to a reporting website for anyone who wants to keep tabs on it throughout the day.

results.thecaucuses.org...

The cover up is on.
Not even any decent information on what happened, never mind actual counts.
Buttigieg was even declaring victory last night!

SURPRISE!
"glitchy" Iowa Caucus app firm run by HRC campaign veterans.

Tech firm started by Clinton campaign veterans is linked to Iowa caucus reporting debacle

An app created by a tech firm run by veterans of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign is taking heat for the unprecedented delay in reporting Democratic caucus results from Iowa.

The firm behind the app reportedly is Shadow, an affiliate of ACRONYM, a Democratic nonprofit founded in 2017 “to educate, inspire, register, and mobilize voters,” according to its website. Shadow started out as Groundbase, a tech developer co-founded by Gerard Niemira and Krista Davis, who worked for the tech team on Clinton’s campaign for the 2016 Democratic nomination.

This is such a parody of government too. Take something relatively simple and make it unnecessarily complicated and inefficient. Remember, these are the people that are way too smart for you, they should be telling you how to run your life because they're soooo smart.

Well said!

These are the same people that will run our healthcare!

No that is not what they are doing.

Silly,

May I make a request of you?

PLEASE quote the relevant phrase/idea/thought to which you are responding.

I don't often agree with you, but 99% of the time I can't even know if I do or not because you just drop one-liners in response to a person without any relevant context. I guess I'm lazy but I'm not going to scroll back pages to see what specific thought you're answering.

Or, not.

Whatever.

By the way. Are you hot?

as if you know this for fact......
it very well may have been mah rushia

The acting DHS secretary said they offered to security test the app and the Iowa Democrat Party declined.

Sounds like when the DNC was warned their email system was vulnerable and they flat-out ignored the warnings.

But remember, these people are waaaaaaay smarter than the dumb Trumpers...

And, I'm not gonna ask if you're hot.

and bloomberg is in next debate oddly enough after a large donation to the DNC

Im sure its all completely on the up and up

What i find also more interesting is how we have more "conservatives" being involved on ATS in all the debates and everything going on with the democrat party

Then actual democrats or leftists

Reinforcing my belief that for a large portion of the left, they just have NO idea how any of it works, and vote souley on feelings and what the media tells them to

It is because the left represents only about 5% of the people posting on this site. What you read here is by no means any type of national consensus. You all would be served to follow news from all instead of those who tell you what you want to hear.

Whoa, be careful, by today's standards that's, like, rape. You know, like challenging someone to a debate is sexual harassment.

Just like the failed launch of their aca healthcare website in October 2013!

The key issues discussed above resulted in the rollout of the healthcare.gov website ballooning the initial $93.7M budget to an ultimate cost of $1.7B.

It is easy to observe that the launch of healthcare.gov was a major failure, but this isn’t a particularly unique case.  Research has shown that over the past 10 years, 94% of large federal information technology projects were unsuccessful, more than 50% were delayed, overbudget, or didn’t meet expectations and a total of 41.4% were judged to be complete failures.  I contend that most of the root causes identified for healthcare.gov are not unique and it is not a surprise the federal government struggles with adapting to new technology.  A large, bureaucratic organization that has significant experience in core government policies is likely not adaptable to behaving like a “start-up” and successfully launching new technology.

They always have excuses and technology and operations seems to be quite a hindrance to those that wish to lead our country.

The irony, in retrospect, would be the easily done and quick Iowa caucus for Trump, smooth. Granted, he was literally unopposed, but if you are a voter and you're looking down at these two things, it's all essentially optics.
This Caucus wss a boon for Trump, whether he planned, wanted or not, it was perfect optics to broadcast a Democrat circus, compared to Trumps smooth and quick Causcus. Trump also capitalized on it as well, utilizing his vast social media support to call them out.

Trump was the clear winner for a number of things in the Iowa Caucus.

Truth, and from what I understand, they had a pretty decent turnout even though Trump is obviously going to be the nominee. That shows a lot of enthusiasm. In the meantime, the Democrats are doing everything they can to sabotage their base's enthusiasm.

When they # Sanders again, he should start his own party.

Iowa DNC be like, "Hey, no sweat! We've done this for tons of elections. It'll be fine."

National DNC be like, "Man, you need to change up. Modernize! Use technology. We're from the national party and we're here to help!"

2020 Iowa Caucus is now officially screwed up.

It's not "rape, rape."

Just ask Whoopie.

And, anyway... If back in her bartender days AOC poured heavy vodka tonics for me all night, I might just think about "it."

Washington’s decision to step down after two terms was because he was tired of the press yanking his chain the whole eight years.

Ben Franklin’s invention of a fart bench that vented outside was to alleviate the massive passive-aggression in the rooms that they all dealt with at the time. He considered it a boon.

I was almost a crime to trim that.. but portraits or it ain't flappin'.

There's a point to lawlessness reached visibly by our fanged shepherds
where cruel and unusual punishment ought to return for the childrens' sake.

For theirs alone I propose that clinical death should be humanely achieved
within 5 seconds. That 200HP wood chipper returns to mind.. and I'll hold

I'm fine with that as well, I just don't like the non-secret ballot part, it's anathema to our system of democracy.

I don't have a problem with secret ballots as long as there is a process in place to verify the results.

How does that work with secret ballots?

In reality, I'd prefer a system where everyone's vote is published for all to see. No way for the closet commie/socialist/fascists to hide that way.
