If there was any chance at all that this was an airborn bio weapon , do you guys think they would let people just self isolate at home here in the states?

Can anyone who even thinks bio weapon is a possibility tell me why they do that ? or why they would let the POTUS the VP and SOS, basically the whole government all in the same room with 100s of other PUBLIC figures ?

The WHO is saying it's not airborne (spread by droplets and needing close contact) and I don't think the POTUS would act any differently because that would cause mass panic. He would just need to be cautious about where he goes right now since it's not currently wide spread here at the moment. Having anyone not symptomatic quarantine at home is actually safer than quarantining in a hospital so that makes sense to me too. None of what your saying makes me feel like I should take the idea of it being bioengineered off the table.

Not convinced on the “say so” of one guy, never heard of him before , don’t get me wrong I watched his vid on the first thread , just sceptical of one person debunking someone else’s (kinda he said he said there), and I don’t know enough on the subject to discount someone who seems to know what there on about it’s just floating around a lot ( being pushed a lot by folks as gospel) which seems offish

that case in Brighton i was chatting about... the lady came in at Getwick and they dont have scanning in place. Imagine where she's been for a week? I wonder if we'll be told. she is British woman, not of Asian heritage!

Valerie Painter, who regularly uses the Royal Sussex County Hospital, has an impaired immune system, which puts her at an increased risk of death should she contract the virus. The worried Hove woman is calling on the Department of Health and Social Care to release more information about the patient. She said: "The population of Brighton and Hove is very densely populated. We are living cheek by jowl in tiny streets close together. Where has this person been on the buses and trains? What kind of tracing are the authorities doing?"

5:41pm Latest There is still no official confirmation the latest coronavirus case was found in Brighton. All government agencies are refusing to go into more detail. The Royal Sussex County Hospital is open as normal.

Any ideas from anybody regarding the standardization of protocols here?
What I mean is it appears some countries are eliciting 14 day quarantines, others longer.
Some countries are only gonna test once or twice, not the 3-4 required of some patients apparently.

Like if this virus is acquired and then ravages the body in 3 phases, isn’t that what you work with and from? Like keep the sick from interacting with general populace? Pretty plz

Why the discrepancies in dealing with this? Wtf it take so long to get pos/neg results? And then false positives or negatives at that...?

*Glares accusingly at CDC/WHO

Tbh you quarantine and test until dead, or recovered and tested long enough to say it’s not there on 2 or more occasions anything less is wreckless

Ever heard of the Georgia Guidestones? Why does anyone attack someone else?

This project, if that is what is it has been decades in the making. There will be no rush to round up those that self isolate. As for what happens when the virus finally burns its self out, I don't know. With industry down and supply chains shattered a form of martial law is likely.

I know one of the first docs to be on the front lines did die of the virus.

Understand, if this is a novel strain, our immune systems have not seen it before, and they will react very, very strongly. In some cases, that reaction will kill us, not the virus itself.

This, combined with the fact that despite the doom-sayers on here, the virus simply isn't spreading anywhere close to 'wildfire' outside mainland china, leads me to believe one of the hypothesis' I read on the first thread is more likely...

This 'WuFlu' is a cover story for something much more sinister, but much less capable of spreading easily, and that is why China took/is taking the extreme precautions it is/has been taking, and why the infection rates outside China are so low, with still ZERO serious complications or deaths among non-native Chinese populations.

I wonder if its because the 1st tests are negative but they have to wait a certain amount of time and test again and again to be sure.

I recall seeing posted in this (or the first) thread that it could take multiple (4+) tests to get a confirmation (positive).

Has there been any more info on that issue? Because if it is true, then I don't see how they could possibly call it a test, since it is extremely unreliable.

I was reading a few news articles last night and one item of interest to me that stood out is the number of infections in Chinese/Asian children is extremely low.
Little kids are always touching everything, picking up germs everywhere, touching their face, mouth & eyes constantly.
I couldn't find any good explanations as to why.

It probably isnt spreading like wild fire because we are a little more sanitary over here.

Also I am starting not to believe that our (the US) authorities are being completely open about the cases over here.

Where is any info pertaining to the first people quarantined or any there after?

We are simply only getting the good news every time someone comes back tested negative.

Thay seems a little fishy to me. To only get good news and and the old "no need to worry" jargon.

I'm not buying it.

My timeline will be by the end of february, I only then will start to feel a little better about the situation.
