Not really. Again, a cruise ship is not the regular world. It's an artificial, packed in environment. How many of the world's places are that closely packed?

Most US cities are far more sprawled except for the urban cores.

Major cities are essentially upright cruise ships

It does give a Good insight into locked or welded tower blocks

That’s just common sense

The bed spaces and resources are limited, lock them up to die, save resources keep the tally down as unreported

Car makers don’t shut shop for flu

A University of Sussex student has been quarantined after falling ill with suspected coronavirus. The undergraduate, who lives at Lewes Court halls, on the University’s Falmer campus, in Brighton, had just returned to the UK from overseas. They have now been taken to a hospital in the area for tests. Earlier today people in Hazmat suits and an ambulance were spotted outside the halls, with a video being shared on WhatsApp. Read more: metro.co.uk...?ito=cbshare Twitter: twitter.com... | Facebook: www.facebook.com...

I think that the best case scenario is the equivalent to the 1918 influenza outbreak. The reason being that at the moment the official numbers which have been posted for a mobile population outside of China, are for those tested and found to have it which are now being quarantined. Which will be out of date and the true numbers will be many times the official figures , these people will be spreading it at whatever the true cross infection rate is. Back in 1918 we didn't have mass transport to the extent we have now, or Supermarket shopping which will be hotspots for cross infection. The population as a whole was sturdier before antibiotics, as Darwinism would have been working its way through the average population and weeding out the weaker.
Looking at the present figures outside of China, now is about the time to stock up and go into voluntary lockdown. Because if and when panic sets in, it will be like a stock market fall a very narrow door. That many want to get through at once another case when timing is essential.

When do you remember 400 million people being quarantined for flu?

When do your remember cruise ships infected with number like that ?

When do you remember flights stopping for flu?

When do your remember manufacturing being close down for flu

Pretty sure I could go on for a while here

The answer is Spanish Flu

UPDATE: China's National Health Commission reports 370 new cases and 5 new deaths, adding to the 2,097 cases and 103 deaths reported 2 hours ago

SUPER LOW
Tomorrow sub 350 from China outside Hubei.

You did see the report that China is only reporting confirmed cases that are showing symptoms now right? So if you have the virus but no symptoms yet they are not counting you as official number.

I’ll wait while you dredge the thread for the microns that N-95 will block, vs the microns of this virus.

Might be a link somewhere, I dunno

This virus primarily hits people over the age of 60, with men showing much higher mortality than women (this could be because of lifestyle factors though - smoking etc).

Men over the age of 60 run the world - both politically and in business.

And men 60+ I’m sure make up many of the elite in North Korea too, so this will absolutely hit the elite. In China too.

I predict an unprecedented amount of investment into developing a vaccine or treatment, because of this. a reply to: EnhancedInterrogator

FAKE AGAIN !!!!!!

Quarantined 60 million! A couple more million on lockdown. Nowhere near 400 million. Foxconn resumed iPhone production lines with 10% of workers today in Shenzhen.

WE WERE TALKING ABOUT DISTINGUISHING "QUARANTINE" and "LOCKDOWN", YET AGAIN YOU DECIDE TO IGNORE IT!!!

And we never know about cruise ships being infected with flu (influenza) because nobody cares and nobody runs any tests and people get home, they get sick, they stay in bed for a few days and resume living their lives.
Even the people on Diamond Princess didn't get pneumonia all at once, the majority wouldn't get it until they have gotten home. (assuming had they not been put into a quarantine)

Another GP surgery closed in Northampton as well

The Washington House site surgery of the Brackley Medical Centre has been temporarily shut down to be cleared and cleaned.

A message on the surgery's Facebook site this morning said: "Due to a potential corona virus incident, we have had to close the Washington House site until the premises is cleaned and cleared as a precautionary measure. We will update as soon as we can."

I’m still curious as to why Ashland was chosen vs. Offutt AFB. The other 3 locations that the citizens brought back from China were AFBs. Curious AF...

I’ve been trying to find the why, there are numerous sites that are not Air Force installations such as MCAS Miramar and the site in Washington State
All I’ve found is that HHS sent a request to the DoD for housing possibilities for 250+ persons. Lackland, Miramar, Travis, and fort Carson Colorado all selected and prepared lodging solutions to meet these needs
March Air Reserve Base already had 200 persons
Days later they asked for tertiary sites and Ashland, along with almost a dozen other sites that can house

BS again from you

From you guess you didn’t hear it was cancelled two days ago?

asia.nikkei.com...

And yes there are 400 million on lockdown

You tell me what city isn’t on lockdown and I’ll show you it is fair?

There is a difference between quarantine and lockdown

But if you was in China right now, and the government said stay at home you’d stay at home they wouldn’t need the military enforcing it as they know they don’t want to contract the virus

So which Chinese city is going about there daily lives you silly shill ? I’ll show you it’s DEAD with nobody on the streets

Assuming the number of confirmed cases for Hubei stays at 31,728, that would put the deaths more like 1,555 to be 4.9% (instead of the currently-reported 974 at 3.0%).

Of course, if the deaths are under-reported, there is no real reason to assume the confirmed casea are not under-reported also.

Your post was responding to my earlier post, look at it.

So far in these two update threads, I've been called a shill, a hack, an idiot, an ass, a d!ck and accused of beating my late wife. I have also had my real life qualifications and experience as a microbiology lab technician poo pooed, because I questioned some of the misinformation and bad science being spread about the virus.

I'm all for intelligent debate, but this thread has gone quite sour. Enjoy the circle jerk, I'm out.
