Inside Wuhan's fast-built Coronavirus Prison hospital

I think they've taken portable field offices and possibly even detention facility pre-fabs and retrofitted their interiors to be makeshift medical rooms. I really don't think the bars on the windows mean what you're trying to suggest they mean. These weren't built in the past week, only assembled in that time frame, meaning they had these on the ready for some other purpose and the CCP deemed they were needed ASAP in Wuhan for medical purposes more than they were needed for whatever they were initially designed for.

To anyone with a brain this was always a detainment center for infected and the inevitable rioters.

How better to deal with enemy’s of the state? Detainment with the sick.

I'd be willing to bet they are multi-purpose quick modular buildings. Bet the US and other countries have a version of them tucked away somewhere. Don't think this is the end of the pandemic but bet it gets worse before it gets better

That is most likely exactly what they are! Shipping containers. If there's one thing the Chinese have an over abundance of it's...shipping containers!!

Notice how all of the electrical fixtures, conduit and mechanical systems are all surface mounted and exposed? Definitely a retrofit of some sort. Makes perfect sense too, a country with massive export infrastructure like China's would be stupid not to develop multiple other humanitarian uses for things like inter-modal containers.

In. They are prefab modules originally designed to expand prisons whenever needed. That's why they have bars. They came in handy for this Corona virus epidemic.
