I have a bad feeling this thing has been around Globally for a long time now....as in several years....and it has mutated....I recently lost a very young and normally healthy friend to a lung issue.....4 days from diagnosis to passing....lightening fast......yesterday I went to my local Shopping Mall...and now that I am on high alert….there were people hacking and coughing and snorting and sneezing everywhere....it was a minefield of biological chaos......we are ripe to be hit by something unimaginably big.

I live in Canada and our Government is as useless as six teats on a Boar Pig.....another Friend has a co-worker whose Husband works back and forth in China....he is getting home in a few days...my Friend booked a months of Holidays so as to not get caught inadvertently by The C- Bug.....

IMHO its far to late....Borders and Air conduits had to have been cut off long ago to stop this from blowing up globally.

If you live in a City with an International Airport you are up Schitts Creek without a paddle IMHO.

I think folks can do without travel for a few months til this is all sorted out. After all, who knows if it will suddenly mutate into something far more deadly or what affect warmer temperatures will have

Damn shame we don't have a functional government to handle this or seemingly any means to force individuals into quarantine who have recently traveled abroad or showed symptoms of nCov19. No one should be admitted into our borders without a mandatory voluntary 14 day quarantine - no signature no entry!

No need to panic anyone, but with an R&0 so high action is certainly needed. Although the masks are effectively worthless without a comprehensive plan, some instruction and serious lifestyle changes. If anything, foks should train themselves to stop touching their faces for any reason, to stay at least 4 feet away from anybody with symptoms, frequent hand washing and disinfection of surfaces people touch, and stay home from work/school for at least 7-10 days to avoid spreading it to others

I support criminalizing negligent infection of others. If you know you're contagious and choose to expose the public, you should be held liable for assault or battery

Deadly virus with no known cure or vaccine.

Know what that makes this? Unknown and dangerous! Projections of infected look grim and a vaccine won't be available for this strain for at least a year probably longer. And if it mutates? Process starts all over again

The problem is if people wait to panic until there is a need for panic, it's probably far too late anyway. Although I don't endorse panicking, I think people should be a lot more prepared than they are. Waiting to see if there is a reason to be worried is a great way to ensure you should be -very- worried if things go south.
