I don't know if I should laugh or cry after reading all the idiotic social media comments from people that can't tell a 737 from a C-5.

If you look closely, they had a higher than normal Vr, so the mains actually rotated the front truck off the ground first.

Thanks! All the planets must have aligned and I did get super lucky to fit a trip up to Everett in with work all week, and my son going to be born within days.

Nice to see you back with great pics again. I'm in the same boat my daughter is due to arrive in just over a week. Let's hope I can get her to have an interest in aviation.

What's with the folding wingtips during taxi ? Is it simply a space saving thing due to the large wings and having to get around airports?

Yes. The wingspan over the existing 777-300ER is something like 20 feet. With the tips folded it's a couple inches.

WH001 is scheduled to fly again today. WH002 should see taxi tests soon. She got her flight engines last week.
