Yeah, that is true. Burisma is a different thing, but what was done there by the Bidens is no different than a politician getting his kid a good job in government because of their connections. There should be a difference, what happened there should be illegal, but it falls into inappropriate, not illegal because the laws are F'ed up.

Also what Trump did was not illegal, in fact that investigation was initiated before Biden threw his hat into the presidential run.

What trump did was illegal, as he asked for a favor. If he'd gone through proper channels he would be OK. But he's in trouble as he abused his office by asking for an investigation himself. He should have done this another way.

None of this helps trump. He's not being impeached for whistle blowing, he's being impeached for going outside official channels. If he'd gone through the fbi like he was supposed to he'd be golden.

Wait, what? Impeached for going outside official channels? Going through the FBI? The President has sole authority over foreign affairs of state. The channels are whatever s/he says they are. The left-over unelected appointees do not set foreign policy. Further, the FBI is a domestic federal entity. They don't run investigations on foreign matters.
