Got the stove in, and the hood. Still have temp countertops, but they're going to LIDAR the kitchen on Wednesday and cut the quartzite. Sink is in.

Temporarily put the pot filler in, but there will be subway tile there in the future. Phone takes odd pics (almost fisheye)...the cabinets really are square. Also put some of the spice racks up on the wall (again, just temporary to see how they fit. Still have an upper cabinet to put in next to the hood, but that hasn't come in yet.

Anyway, this is what things look like now. Still a work in progress...

I'm sure you will do something amazing for your first official "Its finally finished" meal.

Your a one hell of a cook, and a damn good man. ,(and from the pics, a quality carpenter) .

Good on ya.

You guys deserve it.

Is it odd that my eyes were instantly drawn to the spice racks?

Then I saw the range.

But my eyes drifted back to the racks!

Impressive stove you got there. You did a good job. I am not so fond of that kind of floor in a kitchen though, grease can get into the cracks. I like a good quality solid vinyl floor, it usually only comes in six foot wide though, so it has a seem every six feet. Nice part about that is you can sand out a burn or mark and just buff it and re-polish it.

We tend to occasionally spill things sometimes so I like a solid floor.

Nice job, that new kitchen will provide you, your own mad scientist laboratory for hours and hours of gastronomic experiments. Have fun and keep us informed of the progress.
