What if the former commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, Qassem Soleimani, visits Baghdad for a meeting and you know the address? The temptations to use hypersonic missiles will be many.

So, whats really going on here?

Was the NY Times tipped off ahead of time only to then communicate it to the world? Unlikely.

Was the NY Times actually giving our government information to carry out the attack? Again, not likely.

Is this just another staged event, theater for the masses, an excuse to finally attack Iran which the Neocons have been pushing for more than a decade? Very possibly probably most likely absolutely correct yes.

Even the "attack" on the embassy seems a little ridiculous.

One thing that always jumps out at me is the parade of flags.

How do they instantly get these flags?

Is there an ambitious print shop owner anticipating such an event only to then immediately print flags and sell them on the street?

Besides all of the other inconsistencies, irregularities and "coincidences", one of the stupidest aspects has to be the official narrative: that somehow Iran is to blame.

Can someone tell our government and the media that when you attack a nation for 25 years, killing millions of its citizens, they might just hate your guts...

Uh, because he was a former commander, Salami took over the command of the IRGC in April of 2019 from Jafari who took it over in 2007 from Safavi.

Soleimani was a regional commander in the 1990's before taking over QUDs.

Coincidence. The article is actually a "letter to the editor" by a Steven Simon, analyst at the Quincy Institute. So it is probably a couple of days old. Soleimani visited Baghdad a few times recently. So it is not surprising to have him mentioned by this analyst.

he suggestion to use hypersonic weapons for such an attack is pretty silly anyway. Normal missiles will do the job just fine.

You know this guy was greased in Iraq and not Iran right. At the scene of the crime where he was commanding a military force against the US Embassy.

You must not know th extent of mind control on the American people. Let me help you refresh your memory . Our media, and by extension the intelligence agency which is deeply embedded in that industry when it comes to production targeted to national/global audiences, announced it's global war on terror months before the 9/11 attack which trigge s it in the movie swordfish. Even the extent to which the operators will go in fighting this shadow war.

Of course, you know how effective it is when people who point this out are said to be reaching for non existent connections in Hollywood and probably just watch too many movies and a load of other people excuses. Either way, I love to see defense stocks increase in share price!

LOL. Are you serious? Flags? These groups sponsored and supported by Iran live for such shows of allegiance and shows of support with banners and flags. Paramilitary group Hashd al-Shaabi (Popular Mobilisation Forces) Kataib Hezbollah etc live for such propaganda and to fly the flags of their various units. Of course the print shops are going to go into overdrive in support of such shows of force and to provide print off of the likes of US flags for burning, etc.

Someone leaked an upcoming event to the press again. That is no coincidence.
