Is the reason Q posted a wikipedia link to 'State Funerals' simply telling us that another distraction via the death of a VIP is on the way? All I gleaned from reading that page (other than the vandalism) is that John McCain did not receive a State funeral.

Is this another 'slowdelayprevent' tactic by the Dems as their case falls apart?

Did anyone else get something bigger and better from that drop?

I would think Bill Clinton or Jimmy Carter would be higher on the list than Cheney. Bills health and stress levels would be pretty high and Jimmy's been in and out of the hospital a lot lately. Dick has been taking care of himself since he left office. Though we shouldn't disregard RBG or even Hillary. RBG hasn't been doing to well, and Hillary clearly has some kind of health issue that's not getting any publicity for a while now.

If the hint is a heart attack, it could be anyone with Bill, Dick, Sotomayor, or ??? being on the top of the list. Though with a Heart attack as a hint it could very well be fat Jerry since we all know what a bastion of health he is (but does he rate a state funeral?)

Crappos, that's right. It could very well be Bleeding Eye Joe. It would bring a complete stop to most of the S/T downfall by taking out a weak link. Crappos!

As the highest possible honor bestowed upon a person posthumously, state funerals are an entitlement offered to a sitting or former President of the United States, a President-elect, as well as other people designated by the President.

McCain was never designated or chose to be buried in Arizona.

What or who would benefit from Cheney's death enough to make it important enough to bring up? I refuse to dismiss it though for all the reasons you bring up, but from what we've seen of Bill Clinton lately, he might be sporting one of those robo-hearts that Cheney had for a while. If that's the case then Bill might go down first. Though a heart attack can get anyone at anytime, so Joe Biden going down solves a ton of issues that are getting brought up now, and he does have that strokey event a few years ago (old meds had a skull and cross bones on them for a reason) I wonder what meds he has to take for blood thinners?
