You wanted numbers and calculations. Here is a paper. If you cannot fault this paper you will need to check your own belief system. For this model works better than the one you approve.
1 Overview One of the exercises herein was to show that a moving solar system model, without any local dynamical inputs, was able to predict the annual rate of change in the precession observable better than Simon Newcomb’s model over

Sorry AM, one of the most prominent members in your societies history, mentions multiple times that Sirius, was in fact the original meaning behind the Blazing Star.
The Masons doctrine has been watered down. What your lodge is currently teaching really isn’t applicable here. What the original foundations were, very much is.

this second sun you are talking about is called the "Black Sun"...so, nothing new here. the swastika symbolises the Black Sun btw. it's more a esoteric thing than a real binary/second sun^^ and why they should hide that from us, if true?

I can see how that cycle may be linked to the high points on the graph (inter-glacial) cycle. But it doesn't explain why the cold snap or glacial state can last for over 100,000 years and then suddenly rise. There's something missing from the equation, I believe.

You dont know what you talking about.
After reading through the papers (and the math) I find the argument unconvincing. Gravity behaves on an inverse square law... the closer something is, the bigger the gravitational impact. For instance, the moon influences our tides but Pluto doesn't because any micro-gravity from it is overpowered by Earth's gravity.
No holiday involving Isis, Nepthys, or Anubis was celebrated using the appearance of Sirius.
