Gnostic wisdom seeker

I look at Gnosis as a way or methodology to real knowledge: certainty. Not in terms of Faith but infallible guidance.

Based on the Higher Faculties of perception

Or Spiritual Science

What if there is no bad guy holding us hostage as food?

What if it's facets of our true being recognizing itself and, basically, freaking the eff out?

To be utterly truthful I don't know anything about our ultimate state ... but suspect nobody else here does, either.

If they say they do, then they want to charge you or have you help feed their delusion.

But if you want to play act with the herd, there are far worse roles to try for than hero gno-it-all.

Yeah people should all believe in gnostic archons, the world would be a much better place.

I'm happy and excited so many people responded to this post. It gives me hope that there are others out there like me who have the same believe systems

Isn't Gnostisism some type of holy religion denying yourself of all earthly pleasures? I looked into it a bit a long time ago and at the time couldn't get into it.

NOT a belief system (a religion) a mandate. What are you? One either knows or does not know.

Responses are one thing - relating is quite another.

The problems i have are -
: Gnostics believe God is unknowable and only "lesser" Aeons are involved in this materialistic existance.
: Gnostics to not deal with sin.
: Gnostics are for all intended purpose Kabbalah.

Although i looked at this with eyes wide open with no preconceptions, i see swiss cheese with all those holes.

So -

Gives some insight of how you see it break down incase i missed something.

Otherwise its about as credible as the bible/Koran or any other scripture written by the hand of man - which of course is materialistic in itself.

However theres no disputing it's idea that humans need to let go materialisticly but the rest as i said -

Gnostics could of been insituitionilzed since it has some history with early Christainity, but at one point it might of been a school of thought, with earlier/similar versions sort of speak before it got called witchcraft, and triangles or ptlythorgas became a symbol Evil, like Gravity.

Basically the Demiurge or the God of the O.T, isnt the one true god, even though he is the creator, but he isnt the source sort of speak. My guess is Sophia, his mother, is supposed connect him to back to it, since he lacks the knowledge and blindly beleives in himself a little too, too much with out much thinking about his existence.

The material world is basically considered evil because it has no connection to Logos or the Monad, and it is only controlled by the Demiurge/Artisan.
