The IG report confirms it -- the Trump "Pee Tapes" story was just a rumor overheard in a bar

I'm sure we all remember the people on this board who believed these tapes were real. Now we know: Steele's source who made this claim was just repeating a bar story he heard while having beers with freinds. Even the source didn't take it seriously. But Steele put it in his dossier anyway.

But tell me anyway how this bumbling Keystone Cop is a respectable intelligence source.



I remember reading that some people with actual investigative skills traced this rumor back to a claim someone made on 4Chan. A guy eventually surfaced who claimed he created the Pee Tapes story as a prank. There's no way of knowing if his claim is true, but it certainly sounds like something an anonymous internet troll would make up. Which is what most of us figured out the moment this story surfaced.

This sounds like a lawyer led response to avoid slander charges.

Freaking CNN is ignoring, not showing Lindsey Graham's opening statement on the IG Report... Literally, showing nothing as Fox and MSNBC carry it, but MSNBC is on a delay.... CNN is literally an enemy of the state...

The funny part is that some people will probably try and push it on CNN as "PROOF". So no harm no foul.

Also I wonder what hair dye Trump uses since every President goes gray while on the job, but he hasn't yet? I mean I guess at his age it should be white, but it still looks blondish? There's your conspiracy.

I always thought the story originated as one of Trump's own bar jokes. He strikes me as the kind of person who would say to his buddies "this is what I did", meaning "this is what I should have done". It doesn't make all that much sense even as a joke, because there would be no point in doing it after the other person had slept there. "Before" would make more sense. Perhaps the clumsiness of the humour also marks it as a Trump joke. Taking a joke as a literal confession would be a very left-wing thing to do.
