After it is all said and done. I hope the Republicans open an investigation into the Democrats in the House for election interference.

The impeachment is all about Trump voters and supporters hoping that they don't show up for the 2020 election they really think that Trump supporters are stupid.

Breaking: President Trump's USMCA trade deal is now a DONE DEAL.

www.foxbusiness.com...

Too successful. Impeach him!

She had no choice. Ever since the impeachment trials started the Dems have been getting hammered on what are they doing for the country instead of for themselves followed by an awkward silence.

Why do the democrats want to impeach our president politically?

Because he won in 2016, and he will win again in 2020.

The impeachment is ALL about stopping him-IE election meddling from being re-elected.

This is the kind of blatant BS that I can't stand. It's everyday and the media refuses to do anything about it because they're in the back pocket of the left. One single story on ABC, CBS, or NBC could blow the democrats sky high, from the top to the bottom.

61% of Democrats don't think Trump will be removed.

So why impeach at all ?

Answer: Another political hitjob like Benedict Clintons dossier.

Moving to my standby keyboard. Just ruined mine when I spit water all over it.

The first impeachment in US history. John Pickering was removed from office for chronic intoxication.

not a duly elected president tho...right
apples and oranges

so you do back impeachment without a crime?
so then the next congress can simply request a bunch of classified documents and when potus does not comply congress can get rid of potus?

this is why we cant have nice things karen!!!

Two wrongs don't make a right. But I can only imagine what today's DNC leaders would do if Trump was making unlawful decisions while in a drunken stupor.

The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

The same guidelines that are established for the President also apply to the VP, Congress, and federal judges. The President doesn't get special treatment over the other key players in the three branches of government.

The fact that you seemingly thing that's the case shows how little you know about the mindset and philosophies that went in to the founding of this country.

Yep and they have spent the last 3 years telling Trump voters they are vile nasty people, and assaulting them for wearing a hat, and firing them from jobs for being conservative.

Really wins over those voters, doesn't it? What a way to "court" voters. Tell them they are the worst people on the face of the earth and the only way they can redeem themselves is to convert to liberalism and repent of their sin of having a conservative thought or idea. Wow, what a winning strategy to get people to vote for you!

This impeachment fiasco is just another way to say "shove it" voters, we despise your choice and will do anything in our power to deny you what you voted for because it wasn't approved by us.

Is there anything that can be done about an agency like that, that reaches out beyond America and spreads blatant lies and covers up the truth?

It's a good thing there's so much documentation we have on the thought process that went into the Constitution.

Other phrases that were included for this section include "maladministration." Ben Franklin thought that a President should be removed for being "obnoxious." Edmund Randolph said it should be reserved for those that "misbehave." If we want to look to Alexander Hamilton, he said, in Federalist Paper No. 65:

those offences which proceed from the misconduct of public men, or, in other words, from the abuse or violation of some public trust. They are of a nature which may with peculiar propriety be denominated political, as they relate chiefly to injuries done immediately to the society itself.

John Pickering's impeachment was clearly in line with the Founding Fathers' philosophy. The courts have agreed that when interpreting the Constitution's use of archaic phrases we should try to go with the definition the Framers intended.

Assuming you actually agree with the Constitution, then everything is clear. What Trump did could potentially be considered a "high crime or misdemeanor." Thus why we need an actual nonpartisan trial in the Senate.

I wouldn't count on any congressional oversight at least until R's take back power in the House.

The only thing D's have done is either ignore it, and push outright lies.
