How did we get here? Simple... we all got lazy. We ignored the corruption going on in the media and politics because we were too busy trying to get by and keep up with the Joneses. The media told us we had to... and maybe that was by design. Keep us busy, keep us looking the other way, until it's too late.

Now we see the result... truth has become a joke. Facts are subjective. Evidence? Don't need no evidence; we got hearsay! Debate? What's that... you mean like an argument?

We live in historic times, my friend. Quite historic. Remember what you see now, in the hopes that you will be able to warn others. Some of us will survive what is to come.

Apparently, the number is somewhat tracible, since now the WSJ is claiming that the number is ALSO associated with the Office of Political Affairs and also the Office of US Trade.

Is that what an admission of being wrong is from you?

Just want to be clear. I know it's hard.

"Apparently" "Claiming"

So there's still Hope you are right, correct?

PS: I have the tractor ready to move the goalposts to your new location.

After she posted that she literally said the number is an OBM number and demanded a source it is a generic number. I kid you not.

www.npr.org... NPR disagrees with you

One thing all parties in the impeachment saga can agree on: $391 million in security assistance earmarked for Ukraine was withheld this past summer by the Trump White House and released on Sept. 11.

so unless you think NPR is fake news..... you are deliberately being obtuse

Sept. 11: The hold is lifted on the Ukraine assistance, 85 days after the Pentagon announced that aid had become available. That leaves only 19 days to obligate that funding.

so the hold was released not his fault the logistics couldn't be done in time to fulfill it which then congress did another bill to make sure they get the full share

Sept. 30: End of the fiscal year. According to OMB's Sandy, $35 million in funds do not get spent in time to meet the deadline. Congress includes that same amount in a continuing resolution to ensure the aid reaches Ukraine.

the relevant portion of this is he released the aid and even when it could not be spent congress passed a continuing resolution to make sure they got it so again trump RELEASED the Hold on SEPT 11th so it seems the blame would be in logistics in actually getting the stuff to Ukraine and zero aid is being held up past sept 11th

www.defensenews.com...

Speaking at a Defense Writers Group event Thursday, R. Clarke Cooper, assistant secretary of state for political-military affairs, announced that Congress was notified late Wednesday that $141.5 million in funding was available to Ukraine. That money covers sniper rifles, grenade launchers and other items.
this too says they got the hold on aid released on September 11th what with that being a Wednesday

www.politifact.com... even politifact says the aid was released sept 11th and in the grand scheme of things 35 million out of 1.5 billion is frigging chump change

What the money is for There were two pots of frozen money. One, managed by the Defense Department, totaled $250 million for military aid. A second, managed by the State Department, amounted to $141.5 million for other purposes. Congress appropriated $250 million to the Pentagon for Ukraine security. The funds were made available in the fiscal 2019 National Defense Authorization Act, which specifically earmarked $50 million for lethal aid. In a June news release, the Defense Department said the money would go toward training operations, providing Ukrainian special forces with sniper rifles and rocket-propelled grenade launchers, and bolstering the country’s ability to detect acts of electronic warfare. A Pentagon spokesperson told PolitiFact the Defense Department has sent $214 million to Ukraine, and is working to transfer the remaining $36 million. The aid package brings the total amount of U.S. security assistance to Ukraine to $1.5 billion since 2014.
of the aid that was held up only 50 million was for "lethal defense" but the chart on politifact says the hold was released on SEPT 11th and the state department official says the same

During a meeting with defense reporters, R. Clarke Cooper, assistant secretary of state for political-military affairs, said the State Department funding was released on Sept. 11 — the same day as the Pentagon aid.
so if any one was curious about the breakdown of the aid this link covers it military and otherwise

how much clearer do we have to make this?

That was Bolton, not the OMB or Trump, that had that money released. Report: State Dept Quietly Released Ukraine Aid On Bolton’s Orders talkingpointsmemo.com...

You could show me documentation that the Pentagon has released the $35 million, along with an official statement of why it was held up.

Trump is liar, how much clearer can that be?

"Apparently" "Claiming"

Kinda like Giuliani's claims? Kinda like Trump's claims the Ukraine hacked the DNC, framed Russia and hid the proof on the Crowdstrike server in the Ukraine.

All I know is that the number might not have originated from the OMB's actual office, but it also might have, according to the Intel Committee's research of ATT's public records.

No you don't. There is nothing to say that this number is associated with the IRS, the FBI or the CIA. There is evidence that it's associated with the OMB, and other West Wing offices.

It is also associated with the FBI, CIA, IRS, the White House tours, CBP, ICE, the Press Secretary, Shipping and Receiving, and probably a hundred other departments. It's a general switchboard number.

Source?

How about the source you posted .....

Instead, the phone number in question, (202) 395-0000, is a generic phone number that is also linked to the White House Office of Political Affairs and the U.S. Trade Representative’s offices, according to TheWSJ, which obtained the phone number from sources familiar with the impeachment report.

You do understand generic switchboard number right?

You do understand that when you buy generic Ibuprofen, you're not going to get generic Oxycodone, right?

That info actually supports my earlier guess (and yes, it was a guess) about the remaining money being for missiles. I had suggested that simply based on Zelensky's request of Trump for missiles.

The missiles are not something one can simply go into a store and pick up off the shelf. They are not manufactured until ordered... the market is too small and restricted to manufacture them ahead of time. Manufacturing takes time, and the actual monetary transfer (not to Ukraine but to the manufacturer; Ukraine gets the missiles, not the money) would not occur until the missiles are shipped.

The transfer details would also be classified, so no one in the Pentagon would report exactly what the funds were held for.

There is proof that it is associated with every single phone number in the White House complex with the exception of direct lines between leaders (as was used in the Trump-Zelensky call).

That covers one heck of a lot more than the OMB. Why you cannot get that is beyond me.

Exactly. Someone bought a generic drug, and since oxycodone comes in generic you are claiming they bought oxycodone, when in fact they bought ibuprofen. I am so glad you illustrated what happened here .. even though you will still somehow say oxy was bought.

That's the only way that ridiculous analogy makes any sense at all, if we were talking about buying a generic drug and assumed oxycodone. Trying to say generic acetaminophen implies generic oxycodone is beyond ludicrous.

I'm starting to think she really doesn't know what a switchboard is, even though I tried to explain it.

The number is associated with the West Wing of the White House. It's not associated with the East Wing and the First Lady. It's not associated with the adjoining White House building. It's not associated with the FBI, the CIA, the IRS or the USPS.

We also know that Giuliani texted to the number. Since he's been waving his phone around as proof of sanction and "insurance", we know that the information is getable.

There are a number of details that need to be honed by the testimony of Pompeo and Bolton, and Giuliani has explaining to do. Is he working for the president? If so, who is paying him. Was he working for the State Department? Why were Parnas and Fruman paying him.

Without their testimony, we have to assume their refusal to provide exculpatory info is an admission of guilt. And, that Giuliani is looking for bread crumbs to prove that the president was justified in breaking the law.

The president released the transcript memo, that implicates him in a crime. He admitted that he wanted Zelenskiy to open an investigation into the Bidens after his phone call. Mick Mulvaney admitted that the OMB held up the money, partly because they were waiting for the Ukraine to announce they opened an investigation into the Bidens. Sondland testified that he relayed to Ukraine officials the "quid pro quo" as he understood it. And we have Lt Col Vindman's and Fiona Hill's testimony, who were present when Sondland make his demand to Ukrainian officials.

Oh, I know! IMPEACHMENT!
