Toddler talks to spirits and kisses one goodbye

This video just gave me chills.

It's a video of a little toddler, still practically a baby, at a grave obviously talking, and giving a kiss to a spirit.

I know a lot of things are faked, but this sure seems as real as it gets...

It's a sweet gesture but the child looks like she's been coached. Parents probably talked about who was buried there and obviously been taught kissing goodbye.

I saw ghosts and things a lot better before I hit puberty.

Children don't have as many filters installed as adults do, after all.

I believe it. When my child was a toddler I caught her talking to someone in the living room. I asked "who are you talking to?" She said that old man over there. I admit I was kind of freaked out and said " That's cool if he is of Jesus he is welcome, if not he is not welcome here."

I told my Mom about it and she said that her Dad (my child's great grandfather) has been known to "visit" his offspring at times. I'm not sure if buy all that but it is intriguing.

I never caught another conversation between my child and the invisible entity after that.

I agree with you. As a child I have many memories of seeing stuff that I eventually grew out of. Its hard to explain some of it and it trends toward very odd occurrences.

It makes me wonder if something in the brain/mind hasn't developed that allows it to continue to be open to such things. We know from research that the developmental years of children are crucial where they take it all in, so is it during these years that children are "in-tune" more so ?

I think it may relate to the pineal gland and its calcification as we age. Look up Eye of Horus/third eye/pineal gland. Fascinating really.

I agree with you , shaman are trained in order to keep this ability open , but as they say once you have trained and kept it open it stays open until you die.

So you will see spirits and interact with them.

As children we have not yet had that ability removed or suppressed by our "societal programming"

I also think it has a lot to do with our society and venerating the dead . the West seem to have lost this tradition.

I mean it makes sense to me , Horus and Annubis were budies

I actually had a similar experience when very young....and one of my sons also had it 25 years later.

My four year old when tired either before bed or just after waking sometimes laughs as if someone is there making him laugh, I find it comforting Tbh, knowing he has a guardian watching over him, apparently the veil is thinner when in that state of being half asleep.

Kids talk to all kinds of inanimate objects and the TV and imaginary friends. I wouldn't put to much stock in it.
