So last week Santa brought me an Oculus Rift S for Christmas as I'd been a good boy all year and worked hard , the Rift is great but I couldn't shake the feeling I wasn't getting the most out of it as my GTX 1060 is minimum spec for most VR games and as I play racing sims the more frames the better ..... so Santa just bought me an RTX 2060 which will be delivered tomorrow.
They say confession is good for the soul hence the point of this post , I confess ... I'm a bad bad boy.
Can't wait for the new card though.

If you look , sometimes the "most up to date" driver is not always best.
And , you cannot get the "hotfix" driver versions through GFE
And why use Geforce Experience ?
Just a question .
You can set individual games' configurations through NVCP and save that bit of horsepower.

Bought an rx5700? Awhile back for the cad/3d printing programs I was trying to run.
Night and day difference, it used to take 20 minutes for it to slice/render.
Now it's instant.
Dont do much gaming (flight sim) , but nothing bogs down anymore.

I just bought a Ryzen 5. I will get an RTX when GTA6 is released. Hopefully it will be a lot cheaper by then.
