Only in that movie, the girl didn't beat the guy to death, she just annoyed him so much he had to kill himself. Damn movie almost did me in, too.

Unless she cut the clothes off him after tying him up, he must have been naked before being tied to the bed. So pointing to kinky sex session with a minor. If she killed him and stripped him before tying him up, that would be a lot of hassle from stripping and moving a dead weight body to very messy blood soaked clothes and a possibility he would fight back, I think there is much more of a possibility it is the first scenario.

Remember, many people thought Jimmy Saville was a really nice and kind guy too.

I am skirting by on 3 hours sleep, I am cold and aching. Noticed my mind has been leaning more towards my jaded side lately, so I can't tell you what first popped into my mind on reading your post.

Remembering that this is ATS and I have a reputation to uphold, so I won't go there.

Suffice to say that I may still be firmly on safe ground if I mention that "Puss in Boots" is still considered a child's book.

you know that's one of the things that always gets me about reports of teens being victims. it's always portrayed like they were taken advantage of somehow. when the fact is that in most of the ones you hear about, turns out that they chose to put themselves in a position that they knew would be dangerous. and if there are pictures of them with said assailants they are all smiles, and seem as if they didn't have a care in the world or any sign of duress.

don't misunderstand, i do realize that the perpetrators are breaking the law, but you know less than a hundred years ago or just a bit more, 14 year olds were getting married and having kids. teens are not naive as people make out. in fact they are much more savvy now days than then.

I think part of the problem is that children may be maturing faster physically, but they are maturing at a much slower rate mentally. I work with young people, and it continues to amaze me how immature they actually are, and how many seem to remain that way all the way up to age 30 and sometimes beyond.

Our society promotes the Peter Pan Syndrome. Most don't want to grow up, and our society rewards that by making the process of normal and natural aging out to be a serious flaw or curse for being human.

When asked whether she was a victim, he said he “wouldn’t put it to that extent,” but added that “he wasn’t totally innocent, either.”

So sadly it seems the 'Cat Rescuer' seems to like young cats. Too young @ 14 for sure. Most of us were thinking there was a 'lot more to the story' and it seems we were right. Sounds like the whole 'tied to the bed' was his go to with this young girl.

I'd still like to know how the 2x4 studded with nails got in the room. Was it his? WHAT did he use it for? Did she make it and bring it with her? Maybe I don't want to know...

Oh - and the report says she will be charged but it's not known yet whether as an adult or a juvenile. I've not found out the results of that yet.
