Silicon Valley Startup Is Dedicated To Detecting UFOs Off The California Coast

With this summer’s revelation that the US Navy considers UFOs and “Unidentified Aerial Phenomena” (UAPs) to be real, a team of venture capitalists, university professors, and military veterans are launching a project to track UFOs off the coast of California.

This startup is called UAP eXpeditions and it will be based in Oregon. They will team up with Silicon Valley UFO Hunters, in order to predict, find, observe, and document UAP for study and analysis.

The group's founder and CEO is retired U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer Kevin Day. He was part of the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group and tracked the Tic Tac UAPs, using the advanced radar system aboard the USS Princeton. Day believes that these UAPs “migrate” from Catalina Island south along the California coast.

It seems it will be a daunting task for this startup to raise the amount of money needed to rent a research vessel, along with the advanced surveillance gear that will be needed to track these unknown objects. Day is currently looking for investors and other sources of funding to get this group up and running.

The investors, scientists and technologists involved with Silicon Valley UFO Hunters, are interested in capitalizing on the UFO's advanced technology, by studying them in order to translate future technologies into present realities."

"In front of our eyes are technologies underlying these UFOs that are far beyond our understanding and capabilities of recreating ... if we pay close attention and reverse these technologies to bring to the masses, we will see a world with interstellar travel at our fingertips"

Even though the project is still in its infancy, it still sounds like a pipe dream to me, but who knows? If Day's project gets off the ground, perhaps they'll get lucky and capture some amazing footage, as well as acquire important technical data on these unknown craft.

What a waste of resources

This is a step in the right direction....

UFOs (and USOs) have already been detected off the California coast for many decades now.

"The first California underwater UFO was on July 7, 1947 when two San Raphael teen-agers saw a "flat glistening object" emerge from the water, fly around and then dive back into the water 400 yards from shore. Throughout this same year, numerous steamers reported a mysterious 'undersea mountain' or a 'large mass underwater' which kept appearing and disappearing in various locations in the San Francisco Bay and down the coast.

Following this, the sightings came regularly, in 1951, 1954, 1955, 1957, 1962, 1964, 1970, 1980, 1990, 1991, 1993, 2004 the list goes on, most from the Santa Catalina channel. The sightings involve many highly credible witnesses including lifeguards, security guards, law enforcement officials, military officers and countless citizens.

I wonder if the public can get a license to operate a fairly powerful radar, like what they would need, let alone the price of that equipment. I think that military ships might not like to be lit up from a ground based radar tower as well. Just what kind of equipment will they be using there?

Unfortunately, the thread is mis-titled. They didn't say they were going to detect UFOs.

They are going to observe, predict, find, and basically investigate UAP which is unexplained aerial phenomenon. This has nothing to do with 'dem aliens', or flying things (specfically) but events in the air which are not explained conventionally.

Well, to find and observe, you need equipment.

Oddly enough, Alibaba actually markets a long range phased array radar.... unbelievable.
