The Brexit vote exposed the sham of Democracy in the UK! It makes me wonder if the citizens of the UK had access to guns, if Parliament would still be giving the people the middle finger?

Not really. We are Brits. We have our stiff upper lips and just go "tut tut" under our breaths.
We leave all that redneck stuff to the Yanks.

Another defeat for Johnson?
No. More like another defeat for the people who voted to leave ie democracy.
By shin kicking weasels.
What a disgrace.
Im no great fan of Boris but he seems to be the only one who is actually trying to honour his party's manifesto promise to honour the referendum result.

We need to take to the polling stations and teach these self serving weasels how democracy works.
Kick them out of office for breaching their word.

Oh...but....but....they will only vote against that too!
We the people are stymied by these intransigent loop fruits.
Not quite sure (yet) how Boris can say he will not be going to ask for an extension....
Does this mean we could be leaving with a No Deal???

That may well be the plan , or it could be a double bluff to force more from the EU , Germany and France look to be heading for recession which I think strengthens our hand.

The deal seems to be a bad deal that will make us a vassal state of the EU , still under its control but with no control over it , no deal is the only way Brexit can really be delivered given the intransigence of EU negotiators.

No, that may be the result. More likely is an extension to nothing as a deal (any deal) won't get through. The Remainers are attempting to collapse the government in a way that does not cause a General Election so that they can push another referendum, which will be weighted. A General Election now may kill Labour, hence the problem.

I think the EU will not give an extension. I suspect Boris has outflanked the Remainers by getting on good terms with the EU leaders, so they'll be less motivated to annoy him by offering one. So the actual effect of blocking the deal will be to accomplish a no-deal exit instead. Once the opponents of no-deal realise this, they may reluctantly accept the deal as the lesser evil.

Maybe.....just maybe its time to ditch the stiff upper lip and take a tip

from Hong Kong? or the EU based Catalonia?

Catalonia protest marches and general strike paralyse Barcelona.
Catalonia protesters bring Barcelona to a standstill.

Can we learn something from an EU country?

Should be the EU's anthem.

I'd be rather irritated if I had voted for something and it passed and never came to be.

Imagine when Trump won the election and DC just said, "Ummm, nope. We're putting Hillary in, to hell with your vote".

That's right.

Hillary Clinton is your EU.
