Herbal remedies for strep throat anyone?

I dont believe in antibiotics, and Ive noticed alot of my friends coming down with strep throat lately. Does anyone know of an herbal remdy to cure this problem?

While I realize you don't believe in antibiotics the strep throat is something you don't want to mess with, if left untreated it can cause all kinds of damage to your body. For sore throat pain gargle in goldenseal, it is a yellow rooted herb we dig here and sell for around 20.00 a pound it takes a lot to make a pound but it does help sore throat pain but only gargle not sure if it is poisonous or not, you can probably find out all about it at the herb store. It tastes horrible but it helps also warm salt water does great too.

ephedra herb is supposed to give your throat chakra more energy which i guess would help it combat strep. hard to get ahold of it though since its been banned.
