The Brain Drain took our best and brightest to the US, Canada, South Africa and New Zealand but mainly to the US were they were paid wages consummate
to there ability's unlike here were our industry when we still had one was unwilling to pay them the going rate.
That affected the quality of our teachers and tutors from school to university and was followed by the double blow of the Tory party removing
subsidization from struggling company's allowing them to fall to market pressure and with the sell off of our national assets energy prices, transport
costs and quite a few other factors meant that production in our nation became unsustainable and our company's moved east.
None of this hit the .01 percent though as they own everything and never liked paying there due tax in this nation so it suited them to have there
company's in other country's were they paid less tax as long as they could continue to get away with laundering there money almost tax free through
the city of London.
Meanwhile our nation has been spiralling but there is only so far down you can go before the bottom drop's out, the Tory's are at that point with
there cut's to our people, zero hours contracts and plan to abolish a whole raft of employment right's under the excuse that this will somehow make
our economy more dynamic - for whom one has to ask.
There removal of benefit's has already crashed our high street's as most people were living hand to mouth even with job's even before the Austerity
and now we have food bank's giving away food that would otherwise have been thrown away by the super markets and our people being humiliated by a
group of self entitled public school boy's that have never known a day of poverty in there lives.
Sorry I dislike the Tory's as you can see, but you know actually John Major was more left wing and more for the people than that Tony Blurt guy of
NEW labour ever was, he was nothing but a closet Tory while Major whom WAS a conservative prime minister had grown up on a council estate and known
what having nothing in the cupboard was like so despite being the leader of the Tory's at the time he was a Good man, it's a sad turn of event's when
a preceding Conservative prime minister was more left wing than a supposed Labour Prime Minister.
The problem we have now is we are now stuck between ultra right conservative economic ideology vs ultra left socialist labour ideology and the middle
ground is a desert, either way we are doomed unless JM ousts JC as labours internal factions move there weight behind him, not that I dislike Corbyn
but he will be a weak leader and MacDonald will actually be the better of the two to run this country if we do get labour into power, either way I
could not stand another period of Tory debauchery while our people suffer under there cruel reign.
But all that is off thread, the Japanese have some of the finest engineer's in the world - the Scot's fathered there railway's and they have not
looked back since and they learned how to build there ships from us as well.
They could solve this problem if they wanted to so to my mind the problem is lack of political will rather than technical expertise, lack of money
perhaps as well.
