Saw this pop up this morning. Interesting concept to say the least. Could this design evolve into a useable platform?

Looks like China are employing that guy from Kenya as the chief design engineer.

How is that thing supposed to fly? Looks like like the old Avro design that was an aerodynamic nightmare.

Could it fly? Probably. The advertised specs are absolutely ridiculous tough: 650km/h and 3000 km ferry range.

The German Rochen concept, originally patented 1939, looks aerodynamically more advanced than that thing. greyfalcon.us...

It looks as ridiculous as the name suggests.

Hang on the Chinese were hacking into US military and corporate computer systems for perhaps decades and have probably got a shed load of information from those US system's including NAZI era German projects and abandoned US projects so this is probably just a rehashing of something they found in those files, it probably won't work but just perhaps it is using some exotic technology such as an implosion engine etc.

So maybe it is a joke or just maybe the thing actually work's.

Then again it is probably just for internal consumption and so some group somewhere can say to there communist leaders that they are actually doing something - and maybe they don't have a clue?.

Looks like a mockup with the finish of it..Not a very aerodynamic design with the blunt nose..
Id say they they got a good deal on some Iranian PR marketing...

I'm willing to bet the Chinese will troll the US with mock-ups/models of stolen concept designs, even if they have no intention of exploring them.

I believe you are right about this- the recent spaceplane and carrier is another example of this, and more believable. Perhaps they learned from our Star Wars gambit in the 80's
