This mean if they continue to do their crap in palestine, and Iran, Syria, Egypt and other countries attack Israël, Israël could nuke em back and then WW3.

"The Jewish population in Israel is not prepared for a true offensive war. They are prepared for the ultimate defense. Wavering western support for Israel is what gives Israel's neighbors the confidence to attack. The last resort for a defensive Israel and its offensive Arab neighbors is to use weapons of mass destruction. In the grand scheme of things, the war in the Middle East is a part of what's to come, not the cause."

Israel Extends Air Raids in Lebanon After Hezbollah Attacks
July 14 (Bloomberg) -- Israel extended air raids in Lebanon after Hezbollah fired rockets into the port city of Haifa, as U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said the United Nations should take the lead in preventing the conflict from escalating.
Israeli jets today struck near a Hezbollah stronghold in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, and along the highway linking Lebanon to the Syrian capital, Damascus, the Israeli daily newspaper Haaretz reported. Air force jets yesterday bombed Beirut's international airport. Hezbollah responded to the airport attack by firing rockets into Haifa, Israel's third-largest city.
UN Secretary General Kofi Annan sent a three-member team to the region. The UN effort is the ``best opportunity for de- escalation of this crisis,'' U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said late yesterday in Germany.
The fighting in Lebanon has opened a second front for Israel, which is carrying out a separate military operation in the Gaza Strip that began June 28. Israeli aircraft attacked two military airports and the navy imposed a blockade on Lebanese ports. The fighting, which began two days ago, has killed at least 56 people and may threaten a broader conflict in the Middle East.

Middle East crisis pushes oil to record high
Friday July 14, 2006 (Guardian) -- Oil prices raced to new highs for a second day running amid fears of escalating violence in the Middle East.
Prices rose to more than $78 a barrel as Israel stepped up its attacks on Lebanon with air raids on Beirut's southern suburbs.
Israel imposed an air and sea blockade on Lebanon after two soldiers were seized by the militant group Hizbullah.
Although Israel and Lebanon do not produce oil, fears of a knock-on effect to the wider Middle East region, which produces one-third of the world's crude, has rattled oil and stock markets.
