What I highlighted in your post is the only think that would happen if the US were to engage Iran this year (low probability).
It's also more likely that Isreal may be the one to carry out any attack (depending on who takes over in Isreal).

Bush may not be the brightest bulb, but our military leaders are. There's NO WAY they'd support us going to war with Iran. Our military leaders are also a reason why us attacking Iran this year is unlikely. The last thing they need is for Iranian troops crossing the border into Iraq with us still fully engaging the insurgents.
Also, this is an election year here in the US. There's no way in the world congress would support any action against Iran before the elections.

Iran would have to do something really stupid for us to attack them now. How likely is that?

I can tell you that dispite the reports of gun fire at rescue helicopters it was entirely FALSE- and i can assure you that a whole group of contractors WERE gunned down by trigger happy govnt representatives.

How do i know these things?- because my father was one of the very first rescue helicopters to show up in New Orleans and flew the maximum number of hours allowed by the FAA throughout the entire operation- and he ain't no spring chicken either since i'm not too far out from retirement myself. (interviewed by USAA magazine too, maybe you can read about it there) There was no gun fire at his bird, any of the pilots he talked to, or any chatter on the special frequencies set up for the operation- which you can bet there would be. none- nada- zip.

Now my dad does not belive in conspiracies and a hard line supporter of Bush for some reason i cannot understand but hearing that stuff on the news sure got him fired up. Govnt propoganda he said. no duh- really. I expect we will have lots of deep conversations when i see him next week. Korean kind of got in the way of our last schedule visit.

TJW do you remember how the iraq war started, all i remember was bombings for awhile, then our troops went in, thats what i doubt is likely.

you really dont think if iran pursues nuclear weapons that we arent going to bomb these facilities to the ground? i think maybe your putting too much money down that we will let them achive such a goal. they are on their way, and we are set on stopping them. dont under estimate the stupidity of our government, they have proved themselves many times doing so and well, i wont put it past them at all.

im sure they are well aware of the fact iraq is boredering iran, quite frankly this is why a land invasion could be possible. ever since iran has been suspected of starting a nuclear weapons program i feel that we have been secretly planning to do so. from the withdrawl of most our troops in saudi arabia, to our actual plans to take them out however necessary. i feel its too early in the game to say our leaders military or not arent stupid enough to go in.

personally i think iran has every right, the US letting isreal have a decent amount of nukes was an extremely bad move if they wanted middle eastern stability. not to mention that war has made us billions over there from selling weapons to isreal saudia arabia and even iran.

troop withdrawl from saudi arabia is a big sign of iran being overthrown. iraq and iran were main threats of them, and because of their lack of population they needed us there. after iraq is gone they withdrawl almost all their troops. iran still in power though so that wouldnt make sense...unless their next plan was to move foward to iran. of course saudi arabia and isreal are in a cold war type situation but i doubt isreal will attack because US wouldnt support that since saudia arabia still has oil left.

oil does come into question in my mind when i think of the cause of these wars, but i dont have the numbers of 2005 or even 2004 production rates of each country. if you know them please do share.

I am not sure why you would want me to show a picture of the FBI, ATF, DEA and FPS but this site might help. It gives a good description of the several federal police agencies in the U.S.. I saw one a few weeks ago, a marked federal car that is. It had "Homeland Security" on its front fenders, full light package, a seal on the door, and I think it was brown and white. It was dark and white thats for sure. Haven't seen another.

Yes! I forget to mention the United States Secret Service federal police.

I really do not have to many details but there was a bloody man laying in the street about a block from my house on the way home from work. An officer was there just before me. I 3 point turned and went the long way around my block to avoid the incident... then walked back to the scene... the man with the gunshot wound had fled... I asked the officer what happend. He said, "it speaks for itself" pointing at the pool of blood in the street then sped off in pursuit of the 'victim'.

2 1/2 hours later... the pool of blood is still in the street and there are no police liines not to cross.

It isn't the spying that's the problem (I mean, even you as a regular person can hire a PI and spy on anyone you want). That's been going on since who knows when, and will continue (as long as real criminals are still being caught, there's no stopping it). It's the spying without a warrant thats the problem. If you have actually read the Patriot Act you would know that no where in there does it say the gov can do that. What's been talked about on the news lately has nothing to do with the PA. They're talking about spying that the NSA may have done on it's own. Now that would be illegal.

And you obviously haven't been paying attention to any news lately. The media is exposing secret stuff the Bush admin is and has been doing left and right. Believe it or not, some good is actually going on in Iraq. Do you hear about it? No. Of course not. During Katrina, they wouldn't even wait for confirmations before reporting stuff making Bush and the government look bad.

First of all, I just want to say take 1 look at my Username. Since the beggining of John Titor I have been watching, just watching...and as
the events started to take place and continued. Now I am waiting, waiting

Ask 3/4 of the American Population and they will tell you, we are on the brink of World War 3. With the many economic problems facing America and Europe with an Aging population, add to that the fact that the oil supply is depleting due to the arrival of the Asian and Indian Markets and their demand.

In March 2006 Iran will change its oil currency reserve from the dollar to the Euro. I know this doesn't sound bad...but consider the fact that the dollar has been held up artificially due to the amount of Dollars being traded and sold overseas in Foreign Oil. I'm not saying that the bottom will fall out of the dollar, but when coupled with the current Interest Rate inversion, even George Soros is saying that America is going to looking at a Recession in 2006. On a side note, why would the Federal Reserve for the first time in history decide to no longer publish the M3 numbers which are an economic indicator of the amount of money in circulation...also in the month of March 2006?

So how do we solve the problem?

Their is only 1 solution that the neo cons will consider. Invade Iran under the pretext of Weapons of "Mass Destruction".

And is America ready to fight Iran with its currently fatigued divisions over in Iraq??? The answer is no. The only way to pull off a Victory in this war will be to have a National Draft. Will the people be happy about that? Of course not! So how are the neocons going to pull that one off???

And what woudl do this? Before this year, the answer was often 'if there is no start to the civil war in 2005' or some such. What will the excuse of the Titorists be in 2009? Doesn't really matter, since no one is going to be listening to them. The John Titor story ended January 1st, 2006.
