Dear ATS Readers, Writers,
Hello Macenroe82, I was NEVER a cat person either, but I did own a Savannah, until I needed to immigrate to Australia.
Chuda, was her name, and yes, quite a bit different than a regular cat. Her paws were HUGE! And she liked to play more like a dog sometimes, chewing
on your fingers, etc. She was very demanding, and loved to ride around on my shoulders. Not an easy thing to do, as she was a pretty big cat.
Luckily, I knew a loving "cat lady" who adopted her from me... and gave her a spoilt life after I left for Australia.
She was a stunning cat, a calico swirl, and perfect mirror images from left to right side.
She followed me everywhere in the house like a dog too.
Miss her very much.
Australia doesn't allow that type of cat to come to Oz. Like someone is going to let a $4500.00 cat out at night! Ah well, laws are laws... can't buck
the system in Oz, so had to adopt her out. Very sad day for me.
