You are basically stating that if the United States has another civil war, then you have everything to lose. I disagree. You may have everything to gain from a new civil war esp. if you choose sides wisely. There would be numerous opportunities from activities like the black market up to big military contracts.

I don't believe that your premise of conditions during a civil war requires knowing what faction or group is against another or if total control or secession is the ultimate goal of the conflict. If it were based on political or ideological differences, it would essentially be the people against the people with a fractured government taking sides.

Those here who are talking about the defense of constitutional rights are actually talking about a revolution rather than a civil war. Either scenario would be pretty rough, but I think that a revolution would be much worse because it would be the people against a unified government.

Wasn't intended as an insult just questioning if you understand exactly
what the outcome of this impeachment would do.The impression that
I am under is that the democrats would love to drag the president out
of his office by any means,hook or crook.
Patriots will not sit back and allow the president to be physically removed

There may not be a civil war but someone or some group is probably going to do something to shock the nation that will be on the order of civil war level changes.. Tree of liberty and all that is what I am thinking..

I read a lot so I may be very wrong but a lot of people are mad dogs in this era..

We're all far too comfortable to have Civil War. No one wants to risk that comfort.

But, as they say, we're three missed meals away from revolution. So, if someone really wanted to motivate civil unrest, they would disrupt the internet, and the food chain. The utilities. Wouldn't take a week and it would be like a nationwide hurricane katrina.

if a civil unrest occurs in large swathes of metropolitan areas, i would expect the USA will experience an invasion of the PLC/Russians when we are busy attempting to hurt each other.
