Allergic reactions do happen. Rarely, but in that case, vaccination would be contraindicated.

I never had chickenpox, so I'm not too worried about it.

My boss' daughter had shingles when she was about 15. Never had the chickenpox. I think it is just such a strange disease nobody knows what it really is or what it can do.
