An intresting article from the BBC's horizon programme. Has everyone missed this global dimming theory? basically particles of improperly burnt fossil fuels are also released into the atmosphere as well as CO2, the CO2 causes a warming "greenhouse effect" the particles of carbon and dust etc, cause a reductuion in the amount of light hitting the ground, so causing global cooling. Both have been equally released, but the new Kyto treaty could effect how much blocking dust particles are realesed, so causing greenhouse warming to become an almost run away catastrophe.

Am relativly new here so this is my first topic,

heres the related article

www.bbc.co.uk...
thanks

Great post
It makes alot of sense and explains a very practicly theory. Its like a two edged sword, dammed if you do and dammed if you dont. Lets just hope that they are overestimating their warnings.
