I'm glad you choose to be kind as well.

I agree with the idea that we're all victims to one degree or another- in fact that's what people deny the most... because they feel uncomfortable facing their own helplessness, they will in turn feel uncomfortable when empathizing and facing a victims helplessness- because it reminds them of their own helplessness- and so they will begin to deny the helplessness of any situation, in turn victim shaming and denying that people are ever victims.

People always say all of the same things, "I would've done this differently, I would've done that different, I would've handled it better," and also of course the "I never would've let that happen to me."

The world is cruel enough already without my help, I certainly don't need to add to it.
