Years ago a therapist recommended that my husband and I read the same book. A few weeks later we discussed it in session and I was amazed at the different interpretation we each took from the same source.

In that spirit, I'd like to ask what is the theme or the moral that you take from Amazon's "Jack Ryan" if you watch that show. I'm asking only about the A story - Jack Ryan's 'hunt' for terrorists and B-story the terrorists back story.

The other stories, which have their own morals to tell, don't affect the main story line to terribly much.

I'm curious what you have taken, learned, noticed from the story. What do you like/dislike about the story.

What is the overarching theme of the story?

Jack Ryan,

Some people do bad things and they are bad guys, some people do bad things and they are considered good guys.
In reality the are both closer to the same then we like to believe.

Is it only a point of view that makes someone good or bad; if all people do both good and bad things?
