The Grueler is easy enough to spot, through their shallowness, and attempts to weigh you down.
The Ride may be a temporary friendly meeting, that leaves you feeling good, and somehow, further down the whatever road.

The extremely deceptive ruler will mimick or act like those it seeks to rule. Then when it depletes the need for them, it disposes of them moving on to the next step in it's agenda. Sort of like a terrorist leader who tricks or influences children to carryout deeds or suicide bombings they themselves would dare carryout. Or like a politician with a personal agenda that sends their Soldiers in harms way to carry out their deeds under the guise of some political agenda...

Example-
The ruler agenda is to rule man but man is too strong collectively so the ruler takes a face of man that it feels would be most useful to carryout it's agenda to destabilize mankind. After destabilizing, ruler switches faces to suit it's next agenda why leaving behind those it controlled lost in perish and easier to rule over.
