Anyways, besides a Counting Nazi, all I have to say is that the first film was great. The second wasn’t bad but because it left us waiting for a conclusion it could only lead to one place. So they set themselves up for disappointment in the trilogy.

As far as a fourth goes...

I mean the Matrix was 1999 (seriously check out, The Flight of The Conchords for a huge belly on the date the movie came out ). And we can’t do any better than revisit an already told tale?

Honestly the last 2 films were so bad I'm sure even 20 years later it will affect the box office for this new one.

They should name this matrix 2 and pretend those horrendous sequels never happened, or better yet write them into the new movie as a horrible alternate reality where they were made.

To be fair it will be hard for them to top the first one imo.

The 1st Matrix is where the "Red Pill Blue Pill" phrase was 1st coined wasn't it?
That's my favorite part of that movie. I still have to watch it now and then.
