The crowd that was told be there or be broke?
And dont speak out of turn.

I was a teamster and I do not remember them telling me anything like this and I did time on a picket line in NYC.

Teamster and Conservative do not go together AND what do you think they have always done in the past? Nothing new...

Wow, half a days pay for standing around for Trump. That was a great deal for the workers. I never had anything like that happen to me when I worked for others.

The Taxpayers did not pay those people to hang around, Shell did. I do not know if the OP purposely made that up or if he/she/it just parroted someone elses lies.

To clarity, the Taxpayers, did pay for the trip.

Not the wages of the workers.

Correct

Well, better to pay for going there than to the golf club. It seems presidents do a lot of campaign trips before an election, Obama was all over the place. Same with almost all the presidents over the years. They also go to show support for governors of their party and sometimes congressmen.

How much of your dues went to the Democrats slush funds?

Isn't this pretty normal policy when dealing with unions? I don't think it's Trump specific. My Aunt who works in auto manufacturing for a company owned by Fiat was required to attend for pay when Obama visited their factory during his election (can't remember which term). I guess I shouldn't say it was REQUIRED but it was strongly suggested they attend, approve of his message, and vote for him....if you know what I mean.

Every year my company does a charity event at Thanksgiving for people in need. Attendance is not mandatory for employees but if you show up you get paid. There is an obvious stipulation to not talk bad about the people or the company at these events because you are a representative of your company at that time. How is that any different from this?

The employee's at the plant work 56 hour weeks. They basically got payed time and a half to sit around for a few hours. Liberal media keeps using word games to make it sound like this is some kind of fascism. Yet no one was forced to do anything.

Imagine that. Liberals who have never produced a good or a service anyone ever desired soapboxing for a group of people who they would likely call a Nazi if they knew their political ideology.

You can't even make this stuff up!

A few years ago the Union where I worked paid their members to go to an Obamacare rally.

I was at an event at the Convention Center where Pelosi was speaking in a different area to about fifty people. When we went to leave the doors that we came in through were blocked. We had to all exit through one set of doors. Of course the television cameras were interviewing Pelosi there so it looked like we were all there to see her.

Don't get me started on that asshat Perduto.
