Theocracy is incompatible with our Republic, yes - but not religion. There is more than enough historical evidence to support the claim that this country was intended to be a christian nation (and I say this as a non christian).

Lots of State Constitutions did in fact have a religious test for political office, and it was perfectly Constitutional, because the 1st amendment was correctly interpreted to apply only to Congress, not States.

Again - the only way I'm 'singling out Islam' is to point out that it is - like Scientology - not, in fact, a religion, it is an ideology, and one that is totally incompatible with a civilized society.

Foreskin was originally religious and the reason was to decrease masturbation. It’s written and historic, and the fact of the matter is that removing the foreskin may well decrease sensitivity during sex. When I was younger I did poll my friends, and the conclusion was those who were not circumcised had less problems using condoms, and those who were had more problems claiming they couldn’t feel much with condoms on. Far from scientific, I know, but I expect real research would be beneficial. But it follows reason that scar tissue would be less sensitive than skin full of nerve receptors.

As to Islam. Is the problem Islam, or is the problem middle eastern culture where people have different values and live in a warlord style system? It’s pretty telling to me that chris hedges, who was often embedded with taliban, Serbs, etc on both sides of many conflicts, stated that among those groups of people’s he was often the only one who had actually read the Koran, him being a Protestant minister and theologian. I don’t think those folks necessarily have an Islam problem, I think it’s more of a geographical culture issue. And I expect it’s exacerbated by the things they have seen the west do to them and their peers as well.

Anyway, since the subject is Islam - show me any religion that even remotely resembles the atrocities that the current ideology of Islam promotes and engages in all day, every day, all over the world.

Since the subject is Islam, i can provide evidence that yes it is crap but also the other religion is as well so it can't be judged on its own since both major religions are basically based on convenient lies and manipulation and both have and continue to commit crimes in the name of God

The US killed more people in the middle east than ISIS in all these past 10 years, all in the name of freedom and "vaya con Dios!" as some would say, that's all the evidence you need

And the US keeps pretending it's all in the name of God's given freedom, it's obvious and like that guy pence said when faking being sad about people in Venezuela "vayan con Dios" is just "go with God or God be with you" so stop faking it already

Just because you favor one over the other doesn't make it better, they still rape and steal and kill in the name of God, and Russia as a communist country was also Orthodox and had lots of followers into religion in the name of 'God' same as other countries, it's all fake and dumb

I understand what you mean here but there are limits to that allowance. It's like the example often given regarding Free Speech. You have the right to free speech but you don't have the right to go into a crowded movie theater and yell "FIRE".

A person can worship freely in their place of worship. However, we all know that doesn't stop there. Islam is a radical non-passive indoctrination. It does not fit within the western world ideologies. The fact the western world has become so passive with it's broad acceptance of anything outside it's confines is precisely what's led to the US now having Islamic Law supporting Congress women. One in particular who is on record as supporting Sharia Law.

That is a direct conflict with the values and belief systems established within the US.

There are literally limits on most everything. There should be a limit as to how "freely" you can practice your choice of religion as well. Majority rules scenario decision basis. But let's be honest for a moment.

Google owns the public narrative and they do the bidding of those in control of Google in who they want (politics) at the public forefront of the people. "They" can literally socially engineer any public thought process they want.

Not sure why you brought WW1 and WW2 into it, but since you did...

As for WW2, Hitler was a pantheist (basically an atheist) and fascist, and Japan was Shinto (Emperor was God, so, basically State worshippers, aka Socialist.

So, there is the source of 60 million deaths.

Then you have Stalin and about 20 million, Mao, and his 45 million...

None of these have anything to do with Christianity or other religions, only the religion of State Worship.

Sorry, but none of the atrocities committed by the modern day US Govt were in the name of religion or liberty, they were in the name of pursuit of raw power. Every single freedom loving person I know, from libertarians to simple republicans, were and are against these constant wars of aggression by our government.

Russias 'religion' was communism. Communism and Socialism both are essentially ideologies that mimic religion in the same way that Islam does - they simply replace God with The State.

I lump Socialism and Communism right there with Islam - they are despicable ideologies masquerading as religions (although Socialists and Communists are offended if you say they are 'religious' in any way).
