While not the greatest show and with some flat out ridiculous sequences that bordered on comical, The Sequences, the O.A was something different at least.

Looks like it's been cancelled after two seasons though..Can't imagine another studio picking it up but who knows.. Anyway, if you haven't watched at least the first season it's worth doing. The second is a bit of a more complex and esoteric watch . =)

"Netflix's sci-fi mystery drama, "The OA," won't get another season.

The show, which was co-created by star Brit Marling and director Zal Batmanglij, centered on a woman who turns up alive after having been missing for seven years.
It premiered in 2016 and aired for two seasons."

Not my favorite show. The second season was slow.

Kind of sad, I found that one of the few entertaining shows Netflix did. I agree with your assessment, but it was entertaining. Maybe some other studio will pick it up.

Netflix must have done a poll and found "conservatives" liked it. :-)

That show pissed me off so bad. It was so g.d. captivating throughout both seasons. But the end of both seasons felt like the writers intentionally took a hot steamer right into the mouth of the viewer.

It’s like they knew they had to wrap the season up soon and just lazily wrote endings. I’m sad to see it go, as it had a terrific storyline. But the writers just sucked at closing.

Maybe they’ll make a movie and sum it all up.

The 1st season was interesting, until the finally. That was just stupid.

I didn't bother even looking for the 2nd season.

This is a bummer. I really like OA. It has It's flaws, as does every show, but it is something different.

It's very thought provoking in so many ways. The "coming of age" for all characters, young and old is done pretty dang well. The idea of diving deep into our minds to find meaning to our existence? Friggin awesome.

It's not for everybody, obviously. But if you're in the mood for something deep and different, it's worth checking out.

They should have had one more season to give it a proper farewell. Was weird to watch sometimes.

I was told it was good by some female friends. I suffered about half of season 1 and couldn't suffer anymore.
