They're still going though..long after the bills and alimony we're paid. They love it..you gotta love it

Honestly, your post here is the first time I've heard(seen) their name in 20 years.......

I'm sure if there wasn't a decade separation, Korn would have jumped at the opportunity to collaborate with beiber.

They do have something in common though, their peak brief popularity faded at an equal rate. They'll both share the same footnote for their perspective decades.

Not trying to harsh your buzz bro...sorry.

As much as I liked korn with the first two albums, I have always had a soft spot for the deftones. Especially adrenaline era deftones.

The iconic korn for me was when I heard the cymbal and the scream of "ARE YOU READY??!!"

You can't be a deftones fan... they'd smack you senseless.. You called them 'the deftones'..

Eeryone knows you don't ever do that.. haha

also, I hate deftones.. not necessarily for their music, but for people I know who can't live without them. sad.. but.. beside the point.

OP, that's new Korn?? impressive how it's remained true.. not a country and western sound to be heard (I'm looking at your jaymz).. neat.. not sure how it relates to that obnoxious little twat bieber, but I didn't yet check the lyrics..

just kill me if they ever decide to do a duet with gaga.. (jaymz I'm still lookin' at you!)

I used to love Korn when I was a teen.

The first 3 discs where what I loved. Pretty much everything they released since, sounded like garbage to me.
Songs like "Who wants a single" or "Politics" I found to be completely unlistenable.

Well, there was one song about 9 years ago... "Oildale" that had that old Korn sound and I really liked it.

To be fair I have a nostalgic spot for Korn.

But when it comes to recommending something to someone, I feel like Tool stands up more after a while... Kind of like you have nostalgic movies but you wouldn't recommend them as much as others you know are more timeless.

Either way, always a pleasure to run into one of the legends on the forums 😉 keep it classy Night Star 🌟

I dunno..

Ill give it a listen, but Im not particularly excited about it. Same goes for the new Tool, Slipknot, etc. I honestly enjoy some other bands more, who are doing very similar things (like Ceterum).

Its interesting that all these bands are making album releases in roughly the same time frame though.

Wake me up when Lagwagon comes back

On that note I can mostly agree. Early 90s had some good tunes. I grew up in the 80s and mostly still listen to that era and the 70s which is legendary, imo.

Korn has a few good ones but I'm not a die hard fan. Different strokes for different folks.
