Because it's being perfected in dark basements to take over the world.

Think about it- anyone with a million dollars and a paid actor could make a video that looks and sounds exactly like any politician.
All you need then is the right plan, the right message, and the right stage.

We have had fake news to contend with for a while with this capability on the radar. As for how to navigate the maze of perceptions and ideas will be like the rest. Good reliable sources will grow.

so does that mean we can turn nigflix into netflix again using deep fakes ?
