the American cammo you have is World War II era. The more modern pattern is this

This is now being phased out in favor the new digital patterns the USMC developed seperately from Canada.

The US army developed their own as well.

Be careful my friend, my friend had his house raided because he was walking around with an AK air rifle.
Really an air pistol but made it into a rifle.

The US military and the USMC may have developed their own version, but it was originaly from Canada. Look at the game by tom clancy called Rogue Spear, you can choose canadian camo, and what do we have here.....digital camo, the game is from like 2001-2002.

The Canadians did develop them before the Americans. And my personal opinion is that the Canadian pattern composes of colors that are too light.
