All Trump had to do was trigger them with a microdose of truth, and sit back and watch them hang themselves. This is too perfect.

There's a pretty big difference between persecution and execution. I'm persecuted all the time for being a straight white Conservative man.

It seems to be working great for Trump so far.

That's because he's not a racist calling everyone else racist.

Some day you guys are going to figure out how toxic you've made that term. Someday... but certainly not today apparently.

a religion of hatred, intolerance and violence.

Those are not purely unique to the Muslim Faith.

Most religions have their darker sides.

Not in the 21st century.

how about 24 years ago? or is that to far back?

This weekend marks 20 years since the Srebrenica massacre – the killing of 7,000-8,000 Muslim men and boys by Bosnian Serb forces in a Bosnian town that had been designated a United Nations safe haven.

www.pewresearch.org...

Maybe we're not on the same page... I'm talking about Christians and their dark side (you mentioned the Inquisition and Salem Witch Trials), not Bosnia Serb forces whacking muslims off in the middle of a three year war.

You are correct, sir.

If these congresswomen had been lily white immigrants from the UK, or Australia, for example, and they were saying the same things, I have no doubt Trump would have reacted exactly the same.

He bashes everyone that he percieves as an opponent equally, without regard to gender, skin color, or political affiliation.

Seems to work for him, and as long as the economy remains strong, he will be reelected, because the extremists on the left are driving away moderates by the millions.

I agree. He is using (mostly) truth, and is unafraid to call them out.

Trump 2020!

I do wish he'd ask Candace to be his VP running mate though...

The misuse of the term "racist" has set back race relations by a good 40 years in this country already. It wouldn't surprise me to see a resurgence in the KKK once the Democrats lose power (and if history holds, it will be Democrats under the white robes carrying torches). All it has done is driven the real racists underground. It's easy for someone who thinks about race all day every day to watch their speech... they just come up with codes that others like them understand. For the average person, it's not something important enough to even think about, much less tailor words to.

Trump has never mentioned race in a derogatory manner that I know of, and I have seen him in the news on and off for a good 40 years. He's always been a hotdog for the camera. If anything, he has spent much of his life at the forefront of fighting racism and sexism, quietly promoting people based on merit with no regard to other unimportant physical characteristics, without any fanfare. I've never heard him called racist or sexist, until he began to threaten the power of the establishment... then he is suddenly the ultimate Grand Wizard of the KKK, the King of Xenophobia, the Czar of Hatred.

That should tell people something.

At one point there was speculation that he would ask Condoleeza Rice to be his VP in 2016. I was rooting for her!

Still not sure why she turned him down... she would have been awesome!

But yeah, Candace Owens is awesome too!

Condy is a pretty sharp person. I imagine she predicted the ****show that was coming. Why would someone want to subject themselves to that.

As I'm sure you remember, there were a lot of "never Trump" republicans around during, and after the primaries. They didn't take to kindly to the way Trump went after guys like Jeb Bush, and McCain.

Fortunately, most of them came around, ala Lindsey Graham.

Before JM's death, I saw Graham as sniveling, whiney fraud, but have now found some respect for the man.

I have wondered if McCain had something on him. I have seen no evidence to that affect, but I do think it is possible.

I feel certain Graham has plenty of skeletons in his closet... that closet, of course, being the shared closet of the FBI database. The thought of Trump gaining access to that database without being a part of it is what scared the politicians in both parties to death. The Democrats were even more scared, because they all think in binary terms, and they were on the wrong party. But it scared the Republicans too.

Trump has actually been pretty reserved in using that database. His goal is to fix the country, no destroy it. Suddenly releasing some of that hidden dirt could literally cause a revolution.

I feel that Graham finally had some of the threat to him removed when McCain passed. Likely McCain was holding it over his head as well as Trump. But with McCain gone and Trump not using it to go after political enemies, I think Graham decided to shape up and fly (a little) straighter.

I still don't trust Lindsey Graham; too much history. But I do have some respect for him now that he's coming over (a little) to the right side.

I would say execution would be an extreme form of persecution.

Wouldn't you ?
