Modern Christian fanatics forget that Rome was at war with the Jews, that Jerusalem was sacked by the Romans, and was under Roman Law and control...............much like the USA does to Middle East countries now.

I've always thought it funny that for someone who would have been arguably the most important person to ever exist in the entirety of human history, someone who was so important that his words were supposedly remembered verbatim and passed along over hundreds of years, nobody knows when he was born.
The date of birth of Jesus is not stated in the gospels or in any historical reference, but most theologians assume a date of birth between 6 BC and 4 BC.

What historical record did you mean ?
Recorded history or written history is a historical narrative based on a written record or other documented communication. It contrasts with other narratives of the past, such as mythological, oral or archeological traditions.
en.wikipedia.org...
The historical record that mentions his contemporaries but not the guy who created all the fuss.

ROFLMAO! Your quoting Wikipedia as a historical record! Your logic lines up with Sander/AOC's Democratic nonsense. Next you"ll be including Snopes and Sashafail as historical narrative based on a written record too. You have sunken to a new low.edit on V092019Saturdayam31America/ChicagoSat, 13 Jul 2019 11:09:23 -05001 by Violater1 because: jo[

Roman empire split East n West, east the cost of wars was cheaper for bible, New testament created by the Flavians with stories from the empire. Bible was Greek remember and translated. If you climb Mnt Sinia there is a Greek Othodox church there. Why.. because it precedes the Romans and they took over from the Egypians. It is historical passed down and modified to fit any modern time. The flood story is like 8000+ years old the Sumerians. Their god Enki supposed created mana as his work force, slaves. I was in Rome 1st week of 2019 and the Catacombs. Did you know the first 8 popes were Greek and buried outside the city as Romans were Pagan. There crypts still in the catacombs with image of Greek Christo.. the new Christ to sell to the world. 25DEC is Pagan ceremony, the Soltice and planting crops. They had beaten the Jewish uprising and on monuments the celebration. So a combination of old testament back to Sumerians, the greeks who had Christos as there theoretical savior became Christ. The roman bible was back dated so people reading it thought great predications.. they came true. Works when you know the outcome first. Roman wanted the Caesars to be worshipped in their holy places... and better sell to make the savior Jewish. Good scam.
On the positive good living ideals of Christianity is not a bad thing.
The mathematical and scientific discoveries of Sir Isaac Newton (1642-1727) are astronomical. Some of the most notable of his achievements include the invention of calculus, the discovery of the laws of motion and the law of gravitation, and the construction of the first reflecting telescope.
He also was a man known for his Christian faith. He spent a great portion of his time studying the Bible with a special interest in prophecy. Following are some of his quotations.
On atheism:
"Atheism is so senseless. When I look at the solar system. I see the earth at the right distance from the sun to receive the proper amounts of heat and light. This did not happen by chance."

Lots of prophets back then. He could have existed, or could have been a combination of stories of several prophets and other former religions which I believe is the case. Many recurring themes with Greek deities and Christianity. The King James Bible further altered the story. Once the prophet is dead the story can really start getting creative.
Even if you’re not religious, there’s no denying the enormous - and sometimes devastating - influence that the Bible as an historic text has had on the world over the past 3,000 years. And yet, when it comes to the most widely distributed book on the planet, we still can’t agree on who wrote it, and when.
So a bunch of mathematicians teamed up with archaeologists to shed a bit of light on the origins of the Bible, by using artificial intelligence to come up with an estimate of how many people could read and write during certain periods in ancient history.
The researchers are now working on developing even more tools to glean what they can from ancient texts, and it’s hoped that with more evidence, we can piece together the beginnings of the best-selling book on Earth. "We’re bringing new evidence to the game," says Shaus. "Now, we’ll see what else comes out." The results have been published in Proceedings of the National Academies of Sciences.

I always find it funny when people say there is not historical record of Jesus, when there are 27 books that were written about him.
Scientists have finally been able to read the oldest biblical text ever found.
The 2,000-year-old scroll has been in the hands of archaeologists for decades. But it hasn’t been possible to read it, since it was too dangerous to open the charred and brittle scroll.
Scientists have now been able to read it, using special imaging technology that can look into what’s inside. And it has found what was in there: the earliest evidence of a biblical text in its standardised form.
The passages, which come from the Book of Leviticus, show the first physical evidence of a long-held belief that the Hebrew Bible that’s in use today has is more than 2,000 years old.
Researchers hope to use the technology to peek inside other ancient documents too fragile to unwrap, like some of the Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus scrolls carbonized in the Mt. Vesuvius volcano eruption in 79 CE. Researchers believe the technology could also be applied to the fields of forensics, intelligence, and antiquities conservation.
The text discovered in the charred Ein Gedi scroll is "100 percent identical" to the version of the Book of Leviticus that has been in use for centuries, said Dead Sea Scroll scholar Emmanuel Tov from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, who participated in the study. "This is quite amazing for us," he said. "In 2,000 years, this text has not changed."

This is a fairly solid theory but mainstream academia doesn’t find it necessary...
What I mean by that it that the Romans killed SOOOO many Jews and created SUCH a religious bottle neck, that a kinder, gentler Judaism could have sprung up naturally..
The romans killed all the militant ones and destroyed the vast majority of their texts..
So only the more passive Jews survived..
2) that said it works homies way too, but there just isn’t enough evidence to go rewriting history over a theory that fits, but there isn’t evidence for.
Archaeologists have found a secret passageway where early Christians used to hide to escape Roman persecution. Islamic State militants once occupied Manbij, Syria, where this hiding place was discovered, never realizing they had a relic of ancient Christendom in their possession.
Created by Romans to pacify Jews ???
Didn't work. Jews got him killed. What a dumb theory.
Definition of Sanhedrin. : the supreme council and tribunal of the Jews during postexilic times headed by a High Priest and having religious, civil, and criminal jurisdiction.

Someday there will be a revelation. Maybe a lot of the information is hidden in the vatican. we are supposed to ask and it will be opened to us, so your heart knows the truth through the holy spirit if you ask in the correct humble way and mean it! Only after the ones who believe by faith have been gathered will the "proof" be opened to see.
But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge."
