What was the tree of knowledge? The forbiden fruit?

I thought we got smart by one of us picking up a bone and then hitting another with it. Also how war was started probably.

Just to clerify: It was the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. They were already intelligent just didnt know about good or evil.

there is no good or evil for real..its all just a state of mind,just like heaven or hell..just a state of mind..we have a choice which state we want.as above so below.
good and evil is part of the domestication brainwashing we all have been going thru so to be able to exist,communicate etc..in society the way the power mongers want us to..part of the bull..fear and reward system..

did you know that language came about from eating mushrooms etc...

holy water was probably not so much like water but a combonation of psychotropics....why do you think alot of this stuff is illegal..so to keep the world in the dark and in the wrong direction...

knowledge was not taken away..we have it..we have been told it has been taken away..which leads us to not living up to our full godlike potential..

Only after modern revamps...I guarantee you that those sitting in chapels during the dark ages didn't call it that... The "of good and evil" was added for the newer "light" version of Christianity practiced today, hehe...

If we would look carefully into the scripture, we would see that even the "Tree" that was called the "Tree of the knowledge of good and evil" was not a natural tree even because trees do not have knowledge. Which tree upon the earth has knowledge of good and of evil? Therefore not even that tree in the Garden of Eden was a natural fruit tree, and so could not bear a natural fruit. Of course it could not bear, it was a spiritual tree and that spiritual tree was Lucifer, the devil, Satan, God's adversary, and he had the knowledge of good and evil, and he demon-possessed the serpent (having this knowledge) and came to Eve.

Notice when she partook of that tree the kind of knowledge she received! She received the knowledge that she was naked. She received the knowledge of how to bring forth children into the world by pains and sorrows, and up to today that still stands. So Cain was the original seed of the serpent, and when God cursed the serpent, that seed was already in Eve's womb. She was pregnant for the serpent.

People have the idea about the serpent being a snake, but the Bible never said the serpent was a snake. The Bible called him a beast, and the Bible called him the most subtle of all beasts. Therefore that beast was a special class of a beast and that is the "missing link" between man and chimpanzee. He was higher than the Ape, higher than the chimpanzee, almost a man. He resembled a man in all respect, and his seed did co-mingle with the human seed.

Somebody might want to make an argument today that the "animal's seed does not co-mingle with the seed of the human race." Of course, it does not do that today, but the beast that was in the Garden of Eden was so close to the human race that his seed did co-mingle, and that is why science cannot find the "missing link" between man and the chimpanzee, even because the serpent was that creature, and only when God cursed him did he go upon his belly. We noticed that Cain was the direct seed of the serpent but he came closer to the human race, and he had that knowledge as well as Eve and Adam who inherited that knowledge from eating from that tree.

Just some clarification here from the Bible itself:

The beast was a snake- Now the serpent was more subtil...

The tree of knowledge of good evil is just the tree of knowledge or wisdom-And when the woman saw the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise...

The books of Enoch give the overview of what all this was about. Obviously since it was found in abundance in Qumran, referenced in many OT books and quoted by the authors of the 4 gospels prior to it being found, it was once a highly regarded piece of religious text and possibly once included in canon. In reading through it, one can quickly come to understand why it was removed as it just was not possible to evolve religious dogma in the last 3 centuries BCE to this genesis and apocalyptic tale without showing what a mess of confusing historical account the OT actually is.
