Most people would really hate hanging around with people that work the flightline. Especially maintainers. The words "dark sense of humor" don't even begin to come close to describing them.

A California teenager managed to stow away for 5 hours in the wheel-well of a Hawaiian Airlines flight from San Jose to Honolulu, and lived to tell about it.

The boy, who was reportedly "unconscious for most of the flight," was lucky to have survived. More than three quarters of known stowaways who have hid in plane wheel-wells have died, according to USA Today.

In August 2013, a teenage boy in Nigeria survived a 35-minute long flight inside a wheel-well. The aircraft did not fly above 25,000 feet.

In 2010, according to the BBC, a 20-year-old Romanian man survived a 2-hour long flight from Vienna to London Heathrow. Again, the plane did not climb above 25,000 ft.

In 2000, a man made it through a 7.5-hour flight from Tahiti to Los Angeles.

In June 1993, a 13-year-old boy stowed away onboard a 4-hour flight from Bogota, Colombia to Miami. The flight reach altitudes as high as 35,000 feet.

In November 1986, a 35-year-old man stowed away in the wheel-well ofa flight from Panama to Miami. Extraordinarily, the man survived the 3-hour flight at altitudes as high as 39,000 feet.

Well, at -60F for that many hours he’d mostly be deep frozen, once hitting the ground at 150 mph his body would have been shattered to bits and micro pieces, quickly de-thawing rendering a grotesque stench in the air as the innards of his digestive system being turned into nasty smelling vapor. That poor dude sunbathing is going to have nightmares from here on out, is that considered PTSD?

Yeah totally, like why bother building a wall that'll greatly assist in keeping a large percentage of illegals out when illegals can simply hide in the landing gears of passenger jets and "very quickly" enter the country that way!

RIP DB Cooper wannabe. Your memory lives on to deter others from climbing into aircraft wheelwells that are going above 25000 feet where there is no oxygen...or heat.

And to you sunbathers underneath aircraft approach corridors.....keep an eye out!

I wonder if humans falling from the sky would be covered on ones insurance or if that is a seperate policy?
