Australia police raid homes, arrest 2 to foil terror plot

Luckily the authorities were able to abort this planned terrorist attack before any innocent got hurt. I am always amazed how some bomb goes off or some individual goes on a shooting rampage to only find out later the authorities say, "Oh we had them under surveillance for the last year" as if that is to make everything better .....

I read someplace last month that ISIS is planning on doing something in the states come 4th of July.. Hopefully like much of what they say it is B.S. yet there are no doubt people already in the states planning and just waiting to make an event that will be horrible and news worthy.

Investigators said the men were planning to use the stash of weapons to attack local churches, courts, police stations and the military. Police said el-Matari and Dakkak communicated on messaging apps about attacking potential targets in central Sydney.

Well when your ranting on social media regularly about what impact your radicalism is about to have with statements like " terrorism - you ain't seen nothing yet" then it's hardly rocket science or even good Australian policing.

These clowns where their own worst enemies and may as well just walked into a police station talking their hatred and threats at the police counter.

This is no gold star in the slightest not even stardust for proactive Australian policing.

It's actually pretty stupid with all the social media crap to think that the police did any legwork. The case was handed to them, through lack of privacy controls by social media. What is even more stupid, is on a primarily conservative police force, one asshole liberal at the top can screw up the entire force.
